Create a fun Edible Easter Placemat #Recipe

Its time to talk about yet another Holiday. Hard to believe, Easter is just around the corner. I love Easter, in Germany we always went all out for Easter. Easter is a big celebration in my home country of Germany, we have many different traditions, but like here in the US we love to decorate, bake, cook and yes… hide Easter eggs.

This is a fun time of the year and I look forward to Easter and sharing all my fun traditions with my family. While thinking of my Easter table decor the other day I came up with a super cute idea that I had to share with you all.

I knew it would be a perfect table and dessert idea all in one and would work well for my #CreativeHop that I participate in every month. Our theme for March was Easter, what better way to share off my decor and treats all in one place?

Now isn’t that a fun idea? I love how simple these are to make and even the kids could help you. The little clay pots came from Michaels and are like $0.69 each, making them a very affordable table decor item. I also added some chalkboard stickers that would be great to write the name for your placemat or just a fun Easter greeting.

I used fun candy to decorate the eatable placemats like the green grass is totally eatable or the candy eggs. Let your creativity flow and make them fun for your family. I can’t wait for my kids to wake up Easter Sunday and see their very own Easter placemats sitting on the table.

I used the smaller clay pots, they worked great, but you could use some of the bigger ones as well. Whatever works for you. No matter what decor or what pots you will use, I’m sure it will turn out amazing!
