You can use the meat for Beef tacos or beef Nachos, we had no chips on hand so we made beef tacos.. still Yummy…
What you need:
2-3 lbs Beef roast ( this will go a long way) ($1.99/lb)
1 Jar Salsa ( $.80)
jalapeno peppers in the jar ( as many as your taste buds will hold)
How to:
Add the meat, Salsa and as many Jalapeno peppers to your crock pot, even if you are not a fan of the Jalapeno peppers, you still should add a few just to get the flavor, it really tastes great and if you only add a few it won’t be HOT either…But you won’t get the Real taste if you leave them off..
Let cook on low for 6-8 hrs or high 4-6 hrs., the longer the better, my meat was frozen when I added it and I let it cook 7 hrs and it was soo tender.. yummy
For Nachos:Once done add, shred the meat and if you are using it for Nachos add the meat and cheese to the chips put in the oven on 350 till cheese is melted, once done add sour cream, any topping you like on your nachos…
For Tacos: Shred the meat, add to tortilla shell and add your favorite topping…
This is a fairly cheap meal, too $6-$8 and will give you enough to feed 2 Adults, a Toddler, a Tween and a Teen… and I have leftovers as well…

Another good recipe, but I’ve never seen salsa for $.80. Ever. I’ll have to be on the lookout!
