CrockPot Thursday – Ribs

October 21, 2010 By Melanie Roberts 16 Comments

This is yet another simple but good recipe.

You Need

Ribs – We used Spare ribs enough for your family

Jar of Salsa Sauce

Paprika Powder ( use as much or as little as you like.. I like a lot)

Chili Powder ( justย  a dash it will be hot)

Mix all ingredients in the Crock Pot, cock on High for 6-8Hrs. I did not boil the ribs, they actually were frozen and I tossed them in the Crock pot, put the rest of the ingredients over it and closed the lid. After I came home from work the Ribs fell of the bone and were soo yummy…

I was gonna make Rice with this but Hubby wanted Baked potatoes…

Enjoy.. this is another very cheap dinner, depending on the price of the ribs probly under $5

They look delicious! I have been on a crock pot cooking spree lately and have been looking for new recipes. Thanks for sharing. I just posted a recipe for stuffed turkey breast in the crockpot. It’s a super cheap meal and super easy.

    Thanks again!

Of course you can make them… I always improvise and add or take… go for it and tell me how it turned out… you can also add some hot peppers, mhh whats the name jalapenio pepper rings justa few to give some mexican taste, or brown some onions and add them… really simple … would love to hear back what you did ๐Ÿ™‚

That sounds very easy and delicious. I tried sticky ribs in my crock pot this summer and they turned out amazing.
