Decorate for #Fall in Style with simple #DIY projects

Decorate for #Fall in Style with simple #DIY projects

It’s Fall y’all…..and I have been decorating the house all week. I found a few simple ideas on Pinterest and couldn’t be happier. Have you ever decorated with candy? Boy, you are missing out if you haven’t. It’s simple, fairly cheap and yes… you can have a treat every now and then as well.

Plus, look on the bright side once we move into the next decorating season, you don’t have to find a place to store all the decorations, just eat them up and start all over again next year. I love the look of the candy corn in a glass vase and it took about 5 minutes to put together and I spend about $10 for the candy, the vase and even the candle. Can’t beat that.

I found two nice size glass bowls at TJ Max and paid like $5 for both; love the layer look so that was a great price for the bowls and I can use them with different candy or décor all year long; easily switched out for Spring, Easter and Summer time. Great investment that will keep my house decorated all year with just a few simple changes.

The kids can even help decorate, it’s that simple. Take your bowls, some candy, candles and flowers and that’s about it. Check your local Dollar Store for some craft bargains as well as candy to make it even more budget friendly.

Let the kids fill the candy into the bowl, any way they like, sorted by colors, shapes whatever candy you have. It will turn out great and the kids will love it. Trust me.. they will eat a few here and there but after a few days they get tired of it… at least in my house… BUT.. that’s the fun part, the kids think they sneak a few pieces here and there and mom won’t know.. what they don’t know is…I can see the bowl getting lower…hahaha…

See, decorating for fall can be simple, yet still look classy… no matter what room, style or décor you are going for. My house screams fall now with just a few bags of candy corn and Ghost peeps….

I don’t think my decorations would make it a week LOL I’d be sneaking the candy corn out, too! Super cute ideas! Love the layered vase and the fall flowers!

Some people just have it in them and can do the greatest things with crafting. I am not one of them unfortunately so I end up buying things like this because I do love them Great job done…again

My grandson is addicted to candy corn. He would so love to do this project with me and hopefully it will last until the holidays are over. I love how you used candy to decorate. I’m a peep fan and I always let my get a little stale before eating them so those ghosts would be a perfect texture when it was time to eat them.

Wonderful idea! I like to do the very same thing with candy, plus I won’t eat it at the end of the season which is a bonus for the scale. 🙂
