Dinner and a Movie #MarvelAvengersWMT on a Budget and a Fun Movie App #Cbias

Being a Mom of two teen’s and a Princess has its challenges and since we are always busy with Soccer Practice or Track Running Club, our family time is precious to us. When we get an unexpected phone call that practice is canceled for the evening, I always try to make something special for the Kids and the entire family to have fun together. I saw this super cool APP for the Avenger Movie the other day and since the movie was to be released today (9/25/2012), I thought that would be the perfect Family activity, Dinner and a Movie and some fun with a super Cool iPad/iPhone/iPod App (also available on Android).

I grabbed the Hubby, Teen (#2) and the princess and handed each of them an Apple device and off to Walmart we went. Neither one of them had a clue that I had previously loaded the Avengers App onto their iPad/iPod for some fun on our Walmart trip.

Once we arrived at Walmart, all the kids could talk about was the App trigger points that are hidden all over the store; let me tell you this APP is AWESOME!! We must have spend 2 hours inside Walmart running around like Mad people with our iPods and iPad in hand taking pictures, finding trigger points all to find out “Which Avenger everyone was”. My Store had a HUGE display in the Electronics aisle, I found 4 trigger points there, as well as the Avengers Movie Display to create our Group Photo Shot. We found another App trigger in the toy section and of course in the grocery section where we checked out the pizza for dinner.

It was soooo much fun to see the 3D World to come alive on top of the Pizza Box, see the Avengers interact in the 3D Graphic just like a movie; YES, on top of the Pizza Box; SOOOO much fun. We couldn’t stop it was so much fun, we kept checking the trigger points to get our Quiz Questions and in the end I ended up to be …………..

Can you tell that I’m Thor – God of Thunder; AWESOME. It was so much fun, we also where able to create a group shot of all the Avengers and my Teen. My Princess was a bit scared and opted not to take a picture.

Once we finished all our Avengers App fun, we went ahead and picked up dinner for the night. Did you know that Walmart has Market Pizza’s for an amazing price? A HUGE (I think it’s an Extra Large 16inch) Cheese Pizza was under $7 and an All Meat was under $10; perfect for my Teen’s and the rest of the family. I had no idea that the Pizza was that cheap. We also picked up the new Avenger Movie; Walmart had an Exclusive limited edition DVD/Blu-Ray Combo, which included an Avenger Novel. My teen loved it; he started to read the Novel as soon as we got into the car (and still studied it after we finished eating dinner).

After a fun afternoon playing at Walmart, we headed to our favorite Circle-K in town to grab Thirst Busters to go along with our dinner; so Pizza and a movie on a cheap budget. For under $50 I got 2 extra large Pizzas, a Movie Combo pack and drinks for all. Can’t beat that, even the movies for my family of 5 without dinner,is over $50. Loving the family time and loving the extra money that is left in my wallet.

We are off to the couch to enjoy the Avengers Movie before we call it the day; but I so want you to head over to my Google Plus Story and check out all the cool 3D pictures that you can explore with the Avengers App and I bet you will run to Walmart and check it our for yourself before long. This is an AMAZING App and I cannot stop playing and talking about it. It is way too cool. LOVED it, do I need to say more? Did you download it yet? If not… trust me I will keep talking about how amazing the App is, you better load it to make me hush :0), lol.
