With the year ending and a new one beginning, we all make a good effort to start the New Year off to a good start. We all make resolutions that we may or may not keep. This year one of my New Year’s resolution will be to dish up simple, delicious and Fresh From Florida dinners for my family. There is nothing better than picking up fresh produce at your local store or from your neighborhood farm market and enjoy the vegetables and fruits of the season. YUMM!
I love the Fresh From Florida website with lots of information about locally grown produce and wonderful recipe ideas for you and your family. This month Florida Green Beans and/or Squash are the featured produce. I love a challenge so this year I will be dishing up once a month a dish from either the Fresh From Florida website or create my own with their featured produce of the month. I think it will be fun and healthy and something I can keep going, doubt I’ll kick this resolution.
I recently made the Cheesy Squash & Zucchini Casserole for my family and oh the smells, amazing! My husband loves meat and he even ate the Cheesy Squash & Zucchini Casserole without anything. It was delicious and somehow tasted a little like a Pizza, it was really good and took me no time at all. You can make your very own, check out my simple instructions below.
I wish I could share the smell with you, it was wonderful and whether you pair it with your favorite Florida Seafood or just eat it on its own, I know you and your family will enjoy it and add it to your Meal Plan for years to come.
I love Florida Snap Beans and can’t wait to pick some up at the store the next time I’m out and about so I can try the Florida Snap Beans with Caramelized onions and Mushrooms. It sure looked amazing on the Fresh From Florida featured recipe.

Fresh produce is always best when in season, I’m so excited to have a wonderful guide to know exactly what vegetables and fruit to dish up for my family all season long thanks to Fresh From Florida and their wonderful commitment to dishing up healthy dinners one produce at a time.
I highly encourage you to check out Fresh From Florida at your local grocery store or Farmer’s Market and as a little reminder, I added the produce list for December, I’m sure you will find a lot of fresh produce to dish up amazing dinner ideas for you and your family.
What Dinner ideas would you dish up with some of the produce that is in Season? Would love to hear some of your ideas and don’t forget to come back next month to see what I will dish up with Fresh From Florida for my family. Don’t forget to follow Fresh From Florida on Facebook and on Fresh From Florida on Twitter to get more ideas and info and to stay up to date with the Fresh From Florida produce.

Yum! I really like the sound of your cheesy squash and zucchini casserole. I also like to try to use fresh produce as much as possible. It’s fun to switch up recipes each season.
