Kids are back to school and my meal planning is in full force. I love to meal plan but sometimes things come up and I have to veer away just a bit. Whether its time running out after an appointment or something unexpected arises, thank god for the #EffortlessMeals I can pick up at Walmart.

Have you seen them yet? There are three meals to choose from from Rotisserie Chicken to Pizza or a Sub, all paired with a Coca Cola drink and a side of chips or Coleslaw, Potato Salad even Mac n’ Cheese, making the perfect family dinner. Affordable, easy to pick up and everyone will love it. We have our Walmart deli as a backup for dinner plans for quite some time now and did you know that if you let Walmart cook your chicken you can still kick it up a notch?

Just think, no mess at home and you can get a cooked rotisserie chicken cheaper than a raw chicken. I call that AWESOME! I love picking up a hot rotisserie chicken and then create meals out of it; usually one chicken can last me for 2 meals and trust me there are many out there. Why not take shortcuts and you don’t have to heat up the kitchen.
Little secret, the Hot Rotisserie chicken is amazing, super moist and perfectly cooked. The other day my husband wanted some BBQ, guess what. Yup… You guessed it, I went to Walmart and picked up the BBQ Sauce, the Chicken, some Market Side garlic bread and our Coca Cola drinks and I served a delicious BBQ Chicken served on Garlic toast.
Took me oh, 10 minutes and no one knows it wasn’t home cooked and I can honestly say I did not open a box! Spend what, $10.00 for all.
This is how I made my BBQ Chicken on Garlic Bread

Didn’t I tell you it was super easy? Affordable, hello… you couldn’t even run to a drive thru and spend $10 for the entire family with leftovers for a 2nd meal.
I also love to pick up the Sub meal for the kids if they have a late evening at Soccer and my husband has to leave early for work, I cook a chicken meal for him and dish up a sub meal for the kids; grab some chips and a 16 oz Coca Cola bottle and everyone is happy. Fits into the icebox that the kids can chuck along to their practice and never miss a beat.

Feeding a family doesn’t have to be a hassle, Walmart takes the guesswork out of it and helps busy moms bring home a wonderful dinner for the fraction of the cost of a restaurant. Having the meal signs at my local Walmart made it super easy to see the meal deal and picking up all the items quickly without thinking twice or running around the store for hours. Love every little help I can get. So check out the signs near the deli section or I found one of ours near the check out lines for easy access.
