Ok to play devil’s advocate. I think this is crazy. I think the parts should be up to standard and we shouldn’t have to worry about putting our babies in a crib for goodness sake. It is so sad that all of our stuff is made everywhere else and it falls apart or kills babies or does something else bad. If they would jst make things here where the standards are higher then it would actually come out cheaper in the long run for people and the companies. it can’t be cheap to constantly be replacing parts and things you know. I mean what about short people. How in the world are they supposed to use a crib if they can’t even get a child in or out of it. What about disabled parents in wheelchairs. i don’t think they thought this through. So what is going to happen when SIDS goes up because people are bringing more babies into bed with them because they can’t get them in and out of a crib. No I am not against cosleeping, my son slept with me and my husband from day one and still does sometimes. Just saying, they say that causes SIDS or suffocation or whatever. They can’t stop everything from happening I guess is my point. I don’t know, it just confuses me.
