With Easter just around the corner and my Punki loving to read books, I thought it would be great to introduce you to some of our most read books for Easter.
Easter Babies: A Springtime Counting Book
The Easter Babies book is just such a fun and colorful book for little ones of all ages; I would say that you can read this book to your newborn and as they grow older they will show interest in the entire book and start pointing out the animals like the kittens, the ducklings or the nestlings. Besides all the fun baby animals, there is also a counting theme going on. The book will teach your little one in a fun and “Easter” way to count from 1 to 10 with lots of Baby animals along the way.
This book is all about spring and animal babies and the pictures are just so pleasing and beautiful. The book is made of sturdy cardboard pages that can easily wiped down with a wet cloth if your little one happens to get is messy.
Just like many of the other books from Sterling Publishing, this one sure is another favorite in our house. Sterling publishing knows what kids want and knows how to make mom’s happy.
From one newborn foal walking on wobbly legs and five open-billed nestlings eager for food to eleven children playing in the park and twelve church bells ringing, this lovely picture book celebrates spring, Easter, and new life.
Joy N. Hulme and Dan Andreasen, who created the beautiful Stable in Bethlehem, once again capture the spirit of a holiday and a season. Hulme’s gentle rhyme and Andreasen’s softly-hued, charming pictures work in perfect harmony, and the adorable bunnies, fuzzy yellow chicks, and frolicking lambs will enchant children.
