As part of our Happy Healthy 2013 Blog /family Theme we are also trying to lose weight and keep track of it. Since we have 5 in the home it was a challenge with our scale to keep track; we had an old one that still used the needle to jump up and down and I could never figure out if I lost a pound or maybe gained on.
It was time to get a new scale into this crazy home. Hubby is the one that really needed it, he wants to lose 40+ pounds, me on the other hand all I want to lose is the 10 pounds this medication has been putting on to me and of course the kids don’t have to lose at all, but I want to keep track of their weight, down to the ounce if possible.

A lot of the features this scale had sounded awesome to me, coming from a scale that was a hundred years old with no digital display anywhere in sight, let alone keeping track of the weight and even person was like heaven to me.
The minute the scale arrived I was amazed at how small it was, my old scale was like 15 inches tall and then some, this scale is flat like a pancake. I was able to keep the scale in front of the bathroom, stationary out of everyone’s way and in a perfect spot to weigh every morning. To my surprise you can weigh up to 8 people and it will keep track of all of them; the best part, you don’t have to remember what # on the scale you are, the scale will recognize your weight and point you to the number that was assigned to you all on its own. So no more figuring out, are you #1 or am I #4; nope, all I do is step on the scale and there is my weight.
I also love that I can switch between pounds and kilos. Growing up with kilos is something I’m familiar with and used to; that makes it a bit easier on me. The display is a nice size and lights up, making it a plus if you are weighing in the morning and don’t want anyone to see you.
