The last few days I have been talking about the new Tyson Mini Chicken sandwiches, so I decided to set off to Wal-Mart the other day to take advantage of the Buy 2 Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches and get a $5 Walmart Gift card offer.
It took me some time finding the Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches, I looked through the frozen snack isle, the breakfast isle and actually through the entire frozen section and the Tyson Mini Sandwiches were no where in sight; I actually got a little disappointed, because the $5 Gift card offer is only good for the first 2000 who submit the rebate and if I can’t find them in my store, I may miss out. I did check ahead of time on the Tyson website and it stated that my store location had them, so let’s keep looking, they HAVE to be here somewhere.
Finally, I made my way into the middle isle, near the meat section and I think I found the Tyson Chicken products, I had no clue that Tyson has so many different products, I know my chicken sandwiches have to be here somewhere, I can feel it. A few more looks and guess what….
I found them!!! Whohooo and with the $5 Gift card rebate, this will end up like a Buy one get one deal, since the box of 8 Chicken Sandwiches was $5.15; let’s grab a few. These would make for a great snack for the Teen after his soccer game tonight.
I decided to make the Teen some Tyson Mini Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwiches and they are super easy to make at home for your Tween or Teen after a busy sports event to get their energy back up.
- 1 box of the Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches
- Swiss Cheese
- Sliced Ham
This is how to make the sandwiches:
Assemble your sandwiches by adding a slice of cheese, slice of ham and a chicken to each sandwich; place on a sandwich press (or a George foreman grill like we did) and press your Mini Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwiches till they are crunchy and cheese is melted.
What a simple, yet tasty after school snack this would make. The Teen loved it after his soccer game and gobbled them all up. I did manage to get a bite and the flavor of the chicken was just seasoned perfect, the ham and cheese blended so well with the chicken and the bun was crunchy and toasted; I just loved the combination. It took less than 5 minutes to create this Yummy snack and I know we will have many more to come.
I also created a Google Plus Story about my shopping trip and more pictures of the sandwiches, be sure to check them out and let me know how you would eat the Mini Chicken Sandwiches in your Crazy Home…? I will come up with a few more ideas on how you can turn this, oh so yummy, Mini Chicken Sandwiches into fun dinner creations, so stay tuned, I will post them in the next few days.

These look so good! I never thought about adding things to our frozen chicken sandwiches. What a great idea! My hubby only eats mozzarella cheese & that limits me a lot on what I make for the entire family. My teen would love this though. He eats more than everybody in the house put together. lol Thanks for sharing !!

Robin, you can change the Swiss cheese out and add Mozzarella or anything you want… it was really good…:0)…

YUM! These look delicious and I bet they are the perfect size for small hands as well as those teens with stomachs who always need filling. I like how you added the other ingredients, very clever.
