Now you tell me, does this sound like the medical needed shoes that maybe your grandma used to talk about? Gosh no!! They are amazing, my daughter has not worn any of her other shoes since. Best news for me! She has JIA and due to the joint swelling one of her ankles deformed badly, not to a point where it would hurt her or give her discomfort but I always try to make sure she has some ankle support in her shoes, not that easy to do with a girl who loves flip flops, this shoe was a God send for me, she loves it, I love it and the price, quality ratio is amazing!
