Happy New Year! I hope all of you made it into the New Year and your New Year’s resolutions are in full force. If you haven’t made all your resolutions or are looking for some that you know you will keep all year, let me help you a little. Saving money should be on the top of your list this year and it can be so easy with the lowest priced unlimited plans. Why spent your hard earned money on cell phones and plans that aren’t to your expectation and why pay more then what you need? #HappyNewMe #CollectiveBias
By now you have heard my talk, mention and yes maybe a little brag about Walmart best plans, the Family Mobile unlimited talk, text and data/web plan. We are going on 18 months strong with our service and haven’t found anything to complain about. Now they even have something more to be excited about. Family Mobile recently dropped their monthly charges to $34.88 for the first line and each addl. line is only $29.88. That includes unlimited talk, text, web and 5GB of 3G Data. This higher speed bucket allows you to do even more with your plan. How super cool is that? I have mentioned this is a no contract plan, right?
My Teen needed a new phone, his old contract was up and I wasn’t going to renewal with the company we had his service with. Not after we can have excellent service without a contract. I looked around at my local Walmart to see what phones they had in the Family Mobile lineup that was both affordable and still cool for my teenager. We all know, kids have to have the latest and greatest.
I found the ZTE ZMAX phablet on rollback for $179.00 (WAS $199.88). The online reviews were great and almost every reviewer compared it to the Note and mentioned it was even better and more affordable. I knew this would be something for my Teen #HappyNewMe.

This year my Teen has a lot of tasks on his bucket list to make this the best year ever and this new phone will be a great companion for him. He will be able to do so many of his things and then some. A few things he is looking forward to accomplish with his new ZTE ZMAX phablet are:
-
Keep track of his running and exercise to have all his stats in one place at his fingertips, he can easily pull them up with varies apps and share with his coach and teachers.
-
Keep track of his healthy eating resolution. Thanks to many apps in the app store he has lots to choose from to keep up with his goal.
-
Homework helper. Yes… like it or not the kids use their phone as homeworker helper from accessing resource information to calculator to communicating with their teachers on varies questions. A working cell phone with internet connection is a must!
-
Listen to music. It’s not just a phone, it can store all their favorite songs, too and they are all available at a fingertip. Long gone are the days of the Walkman as we know it.
-
Stay connected to his friends and family through varies apps, just a Txt msg or a phone call. Trust me, your teen will respond quicker to you if you Txt msg him vs. leaving voicemail. It’s the new generation.
-
Take pictures. I love the way the ZTE ZMAX phablet takes pictures. AMAZING! Check out the flower below, that was taken without any adjustments straight from the phone. LOVE it!!
-
Stay organized. With calendars and reminder apps this will be an easy task and hopefully will keep my Teen on time with all his assignments.
-
Accessing movie apps to enjoy some down time on the bus after a hard day at class.
This and many more things will help my teen make 2015 the best year ever and I’m excited that a small investment into a new, more advanced cell phone with unlimited talk, text and web/data with an affordable monthly fee will keep him advancing that much more.

Do you have someone in your family that still has a flip phone or maybe no cell phone at all? I highly encourage you to check out the huge phone selection that Family Mobile has to offer and bring them into the New Year in style. Any of the phones would make a wonderful gift for the New Year. They don’t even know what they are missing. Unbelievable how much technology has changed our lives over the last 10 years and I can honestly say I wouldn’t want to miss it, no child should ever miss it, either!
