Find a Restaurant on the Go with the Restaurant.com App #ReviewCrew

We drove to Orlando the other day for a shopping trip and usually when we go we spend all day up there. I totally forgot to figure out what or where to eat dinner so on the way up there, which is a 45 minute drive, I told hubby to pull out his phone and search restaurant.com, he as the App on his phone, making it even easier to search for restaurants in the area.

While I drove, he read to me all the different cuisines that would be available at our destination, the App showed him how far away the restaurant would be, pulled up menus and we could also purchase the Certificate right through the App. Talking about convenience and savings on the go.

We love Pizza and usually if we are out shopping, Pizza date it is. We quickly decided on a Pizza place called “Italian Garden Pizzeria & Restaurant” and thanks to the directions that are also showing up on the restaurant.com App, I was able to get to the restaurant without any problems and it was only a few minutes away from our final shopping destination.

I loved the convenience the App gave us while on our way, I would have never found this little place nor looked for it, being from out of town I probably would have stopped by one Fast Food joint or the chain restaurants that we all know and spend a fortune. Once I parked, I bought my Restaurant.com certificate to save on our meal. I was a happy camper, totally unplanned and we ended up with a meal deal. Can’t get any easier then that.

The restaurant was very clean and looked fairly new and I felt right at home; we got there between lunch and dinner, usually a time where I’m used to a restaurant being fairly empty; this place had quit a few people seated and costumers walking in for pickup orders. I was quit impressed. The Service was ok, could have been a little friendlier. I did notice that the waiter spoke to all the other tables and asked if they enjoyed their lunch/dinner, yet he never came to our table until we were ready to pay. I’m kind of okay with that, I like to eat in peace and quiet, just thought that was kind of odd. Did we look intimidating my hubby and I?

I had bought a $25 Gift certificate, with a $37.50 minimum purchase price; that would have fed a family of 4 or 5 easily. I had no idea that a large Pizza was HUGE, yes.. HUGE! We ordered appetizer, fried calamari. They came fairly quickly, was okay,a  little small of a portion for $8.00 but since we had a Large Pizza and a big order of Wings coming, I was ok with that.

The pizza, like I mentioned before was HUGE… must have been an extra large; but I loved it. The Pizza was amazing, the Pizza sauce was fresh tasting, no sweet or thick at all; the flavor of the crust was suburb and being the Pizza lover that I’m, I would give this Pizza two thumbs up. LOVED IT!!! I love mushrooms on my pizza, hubby got Peperoni. I was a bit surprised that they used fresh mushrooms, something I rarely find at a restaurant, but the flavor was amazing; I could rave for hours!!

Of course you can’t have Pizza without wings. We ordered 20 wings and after seeing how big the Pizza was I was almost embarrassed to even have the wings on our table; people must have thought we are crazy. Two people and a table full of food, but looking around I quickly saw that other people did the same thing… ha-ha. The wings came a few minutes after the Pizza arrived and boy, they were HUGE! These Italians at the Italian Garden Pizzeria & Restaurant did not skim on anything. The wings were amazing and my husband raved for hours; twice fried and lots of meat. AWESOME!!

Overall, we couldn’t have had a better dinner, after my Gift Certificate, which the waiter took right from my phone, our total including (a nice size) tip was $25.00!! WOW… where can you get THAT much food, excellent food I may add? I’m soo thankful that we checked out the restaurant.com App on the phone and found this little gem. I know for sure, I would have never checked it out, without the App and the restaurant.com certificate offer.

So be sure, the next time you are heading out of town (or even locally) looking for a restaurant, load the Restaurant.com App on your iPhone or Android phone for amazing restaurant finds and dinner/lunch deals. You won’t be disappointed, trust me!! I’m glad I have the App.
