Nickelodeon Gak Review
OMG… remember the 90’s? Yup.. I do, I’m an 80’s child, but totally remember the 90’s and back then we all went crazy over GAK and FLOAM… do you remember? I grew up in Germany, so our’ GAK was actually called “Slimey” but the same consistence as the GAK; I used to love that stuff. Well, it was a no brainer when I was contacted by one of my amazing PR people to check out a few of the new (old) products to hit store shelf’s soon.
Of course, my kids had no clue.. I know, they must be living behind the moon, they have no idea how much fun us 80’s and 90’s kids had… boy do I miss the time.. long long ago and long before any kind of Video game, but my kids got a blast from the past today, I pulled out the Nickelodeon new and improved GAK and Floam. They looked at me as if I was crazy. I haven’t been more excited to “play’ as today… I know, this is for the kids, but come’ on I’m a kid, too… right…lol.
I started the kids off with the GAK, since I honestly had never heard of “Floam”; I guess this never made it to Germany or I may have missed the craze, who knows, but I was all too familiar with the GAK so off we went and had a BLAST!!
Pictures say more than a Thousand words, so we’ve got a bunch for you….
If you think this looks like fun.. wait till you see the Tween and Teen.. they had a BLAST… they thought it was super cool and couldn’t believe what cool “stuff” mom had when she was younger…..
Ohhh soo much fun with a blast from the past…. we must have spend 2 maybe 3 hours just goofing of laughing, touching and just having fun with GAK…honestly it still feels and smells the same as back in the day….. We had the green and red GAK, I didn’t think I needed all three packages opened at once, usually one of the kids isn’t interested into a product review… WELL… this time, they actually fought over the GAK and told me, MOM….You should have opened three.. we are three kids.. remember!!! I asked to share, but everyone who had the GAK at the time was not willing to share. So it really is a good idea to have one package per child so you will not hear that “MOM….. I want a turn and Bubba is not sharing” scream across the hall!
Soo much fun and we can’t wait to purchase a few different more, you can now get the improved Nickelodeon GAK through their website or Amazon.com, Target.com, ToysRUs.com or the national retail stores like target, Walmart, Toys R Us and each tub of GAK retails for $6.99. For more information be sure to check out GAK online.
Did I tell you that GAK is NON-TOXIC, NON STAINING, phthalate, latex and BPA Free…. not sure what it is made off, but it’s AWESOME stuff and totally child proof and recommended for ages 6 and up; however my Princess is 4 and with supervision she was totally fine with GAK and having a blast; the Tween and Teen of course had a ball and check out, my Tween took a picture of me while I was playing with the GAK on the dinner table… I just couldn’t resist… soo much fun
Well, enough fun for a day… put the GAK back into the air tight container and put it up for another fun day… over and over; you can squeeze, stretch, twist, roll, bubble and yes, bounce day in day out… just when you are done, put it back in the container……we’ll have to put the FLOAM off to another day, so be sure to check back in a few days to see how we liked the FLOAM and if it was as much fun as the GAK.. remember, I have never had FLOAM… so it will be interesting to find out….
