This is my favorite time of the year and for some reason this year it’s just flying by. Have you looked at the calendar lately? Thanksgiving is just a week away and Christmas is around the corner, too. Didn’t we just celebrate Summer vacation? Let’s hold on to some of our memories, dreams and expectations and let’s remember some of our fun times and celebrate Friendsgiving with all our favorite movies and friends.
I don’t know about you, but my favorite movies are all movies from back in the day, back when time wasn’t running as fast as it is now, a time when I had time to sit and enjoy a movie, I couldn’t tell you a new movie that has been out in years. So that is what makes Netflix so much fun for me and my family. My kids are all about the new movies and love going to the theater with their friends, I don’t mind taking them. I just don’t have the time nor the patience to sit through a 2hr movie where the outcome is totally predictable. Almost every movie nowadays somehow has the same storyline, did you notice that? Don’t get me wrong, I love movies, just hate paying the sticker price if I don’t have too and I love old movies, remembering is the best thing, going down memory lane..ahh.
So this November I picked a few of our favorite shows and movies that we all like to watch and see what you think, maybe some of these are on your favorite or must watch list, too. Maybe some are new to you and will end up a favorite? Check them out, something for everyone I’m sure and hey, these will also work great if you aren’t into Football on Thanksgiving day, just pick a movie and watch it with the Family, walk down memory lane, it will be a lot of fun.For the younger crowed you can’t go wrong with these:
