A few weeks ago, I introduced you to the FRN program and even offered a super fun Giveaway for 10 readers to win $1.50 off per gallon up to 20 Gallons; I decided to check out the program myself since I haven’t gotten much feedback from my readers to see if it really is worth it.
This afternoon, I registered my fuel card, took me about 5 minutes if at all and since my card was already loaded with $1.50/gallon saving I was ready to roll. I went to the gas station, since I waited till my tank was nearly empty to take full advantage of the 20 gallons that the rewards allowed me to get.
At the pump I was prompted to scan my FRN card and then my payment of choice… within seconds my price dropped from $3.29 to ….$1.79/per gallon (up to my 20 gallons)…WHOHOOOO!
I think I giggled all the way till my car was filled up.. really… $1.79/gallon isn’t something I have seen in ages…. WOW… I was waiting for the store clerk to call the cops or to come out yelling at me for stealing gas that’s how LOW my price was and I felt like I’m doing something wrong…..it kind of was an awesome feeling though, because I knew the guy next to me was paying the $3.29/gallon. I was trying to figure out how I could share my low price with them, BUT I was able to tell them about the FRN program, it’s FREE and easy to sign up and every time you dine out, buy groceries etc., you can earn cents or even dollars off your gallon of gas!!!!
So… do you think it’s worth it?? I totally think it is.. I drove down the road giggling and thinking “ I… only paid $1.79 per gallon…Nananana” and felt like making funny faces at people, knowing they paid more… I was like a kid in a candy store and all because I saved a bundle on gas… Crazy.. I know.. BUT I finally found a way to save on gas and I’m loving it….!!
Soooo…. my Giveaway for 10 pre-paid cards, each giving you $1.50 off per gallon (up to 20 gallon) of gas is still running, be sure to enter for your chance to win one card!!!!

We have BP credit card and during Thanksgiving they had double points so we only paid 56 cents a gallon on a fill up. I also have the FRN card, but just got it and haven’t built up too much yet. Either way, I like having options to save on something we have to spend money on.
