A lot of my friends and family members always ask me where get coupons from, s I decided to list some of my coupon finds and share with you so you can get started on your coupon collection, too. Remember you never know when a coupon may come in handy and may make the item FREE, so never leave a coupon behind….:-)
-
Check you grocery store for coupons on the products, the shelf or what we call a blinki machine, (thats’ a little black box in front of the products at the grocery store and you can pull out a coupon). Collect them anywhere you see one and hold them in your coupon binder till there is a super sale to maximize your savings.
- I get a lot of my GOOD coupons by e-mailing the companies directly. Lot of them send coupons for a free product, some send a coupon for $$ off and some just send a Thank you. But in any way this is a great and quick free way to get some extra coupons for products that you actually use. Swagraberhas a nice list on her Blog about all the companies that she had great success with, go check it out, it really is worth the one or two minutes you spend sending an e-mail message. Remember once you get the coupons hold on to it till a sale comes around for an even bigger saving !!!
- I buy multiple papers every Sunday ( except for a holiday weekend, there will be NO coupons in the paper) and hold the entire insert, there are usually a Smart Source ( called SS in coupon lingo ) a Red Plum ( called RP in coupon lingo) and once a month or so a P&G ( this will have lots of cleaning product coupons, personal health, diapers, anything P&G has in their product line up) and sometimes a General Mills insert will show up, too. The reason I buy in multiple is, when the store has a product BuyOne Get One Free ( Bogo in Coupon lingo), you can use 2 (!!) coupons for the product making the final cost even less and more savings in your pocket. When I get a product for the price I like I try to buy at least 10 or enough to get me thru to another sale 6-8 weeks, so I always try to have that many coupons.
- Check out my Coupons pagehere for lots o Online printable coupons, these also will be able to print 2, each time you print a coupon you can hit the back button once or twice and a second (legit) coupon will print, you can print up to 2 per computer. As far as I know every store will accept online Printed coupons as long as they are legit and not fraudulent. But if you are not sure ask the costumer service desk at your store. I get lots of my coupons online, too.
- Another Option is to trade coupons online, or buy them. I will list some companies who will sell coupons and you can get as many as you like. Some areas get better coupons as others, so that is a nice option. But will post about that later.
I hope this was a bit helpful to you will pot this in my Coupons & savings page, too so you can always get back to it and I can add more info along the way.
