Guess what time it is. It’s almost time for Kids’ Choice Awards Access Time! We are super excited in our home and for weeks my daughter who is 7 hasn’t talked about anything else.
Do you have kids that love watching the Kids’ Choice Awards? It’s always fun to see your favorite show or actor. This year Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters is the official drink sponsor of the Kids’ Choice Awards which will be aired on Saturday, March 28th. I thought it would be fun to share a few ideas how we make it a fun family event.
We love movie nights as you might have seen in many of our posts, so on March 28th our movie night will be a bit different, we will build a fort in the living room with lots of blankets and pillows so we all can hang out together in front of the TV and share lots of laughs, giggles, dance moves and songs. I’m sure my daughter will share a few of her favorite quotes, too.
So, while I have the game plan set I knew the kids would love to have a few items to snack on while watching the Awards and while I picked up our Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters at Walmart a few weeks ago already, I decided to make some simple Sandwich Roll ups that paired with some fruit cups and chips would make for a mighty fine Award snack, don’t you think?
Oh, have you tried the Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters yet? We love them, lightly fruit-flavored water beverage that has no artificial colors or flavors is low in calories (only 30 calories to be exact) and the kids really enjoy it. Look for a special Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters Kids’ Choice Awards display at Walmart. I always love finding special displays like that, don’t you?
So back to Walmart I went to pick up all the cold cuts, cheese, some veggies and we love to use Tortilla shells to create fun wraps for dinner, so all that and a few extras ended up in my shopping cart. Once I was home, assembly of our pinwheel sandwiches was a breeze, you could make them in the morning or even a day ahead as long as you keep them in the fridge.
I think we are all set for the Kids’ Choice Awards and my kids can’t wait to have a little show party at our house, just us, no one special. I’m sure if you surprise your kids with a fun awards snack they will name vote you winner of the night!
Do you have a few snack ideas that your kids would love to have during the Kids’ Choice Awards? Would love to hear it, so leave me a comment below and OH, don’t forget what show your kids are rooting for to win.
One of our favorite show is Dog with a Blog, I so can relate about the blog thing…. Hahaha… Now if I could teach my dogs how to blog, that would be awesome! My daughter is also hooked on Every Which Way, have you seen it yet? It’s a super cute show, too. There are too many to name that are nominated and boy I’m sure it will be a touch choice to pick a winner. So tune in on March 28th and have a fun Family event and hang out and enjoy some good food and family time.

What a fun, family evening you have planned! Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters is high on our special event list – we always have several packs at home for lunchboxes! My oldest is almost 7 and is just becoming aware of the Kids Choice Awards. I fondly remember watching the show with my brother, so I hope I can create some fun memories with my children (a fort sounds fantastic!). Thanks for sharing! #client
