Get your Kids ready for back to school with #Kohls101 and enter a #Giveaway

The other day I showed you how easy Back to School shopping can be with a little help from #Kohls101. They are a one stop shop now thanks to the corporation of Kohl’s and Office Max. From uniforms to shoes to backpacks and now this year you can even purchase all the school supplies like pencils, paper, glue and anything else that is needed for Back to School for all your kids right there in store making Kohl’s your one stop shop and be done all in a day.

I know for myself as a busy mom of 3, this was a huge time saver. I didn’t have to run from store to store, drag the kids around town and with 3 things can get difficult. We’ve all been there, say no more and visit your local Kohl’s this year and see how easy it can be to shop for Back to School. After shopping is done you can relax on your porch or deck with a nice cold drink and think about how you could be running around in the hot summer heat trying to find all the things for the kids to head back to school. Ahhhhh ….. you will have a smile on your face.

A few Back to School tips from our home to yours to make the Back to School Routine a little easier on everyone

  1. Prepare Breakfast ahead of time to eliminate the last minute rush in the morning and ensuring the kids will have a healthy breakfast to start the day. You can prepare it the night before and just either pull it out of the fridge or re-head in the microwave. Home Cooking doesn’t have to be difficult but will make a world of difference.
  2. Put out the outfit for the day the night before, that way you know if a sock or a shoe would be missing and you can find it before you go to bed, rather than running around looking for it in the morning.
  3. Wake up your little one 30 minutes earlier to give them time to adjust to the new wake-up routine and to give them plenty of time to get washed up, teeth brushed, clothes on and all the fun little things that take the kids forever to do, that will ensure that you will make it out the door in time.

You will even love it more if you have a little extra help. I know the prices at Kohl’s are awesome and can’t be beat by other stores, but how sweet would it be if I tell you, Kohl’s is offering one amazing 2Boys+1Girl=OneCrazyMom reader a $100.00 Kohl’s Gift card to go shopping for their very own Back to School items and see the time savings for themselves. YUP… that is exactly what we are doing, giving away 1 $100 gift card, be sure to enter below ~ Good Luck and Happy Shopping.

For more deals be sure to visit your local Kohl’s or online and don’t forget to follow on Twitter and Facebook

We like to shop the early sales for new notebooks and pens, then go through our existing wardrobe to see what things we need to supplement for Fall.

We get on a school schedule a week before school so it’s easier to wake up on the first day. When it comes to shopping, we definitely hit up sales and use coupons!

Go through your kids clothes and have them try on some things to make sure if they fit or don’t. Then make a list of what they actually need so you arent left buying more than what they need. It is easier on you and your wallet

Always have a routine. We start practicing our school routine a good 2 weeks before school starts. Bedtime comes back and the alarm gets set for morning… it totally helps everyone when school starts up again!

I always check the coupons I have and the sales going on to try to get the best possible prices on supplies and clothes. I go through my kids clothes beforehand to see what they need and get rid of what they can’t wear. I stock up on cheap supplies to be sure I have plenty throughout the school year.

My back to school tips are have a list of all the things you will need. Don’t fret if you don’t have everything because some things can wait like a whole new back to school wardrobe. I get two new outfits and shoes and then get the rest as I can afford it.

I start preparing my kids to get into the mood of getting ready for school 2 weeks before school starts with bedtimes and having to get up early in the morning. Its easier to start early and get them adjusted than to just try to throw them into a routine the day school starts.

Buy only the essentials. Summer clothes are usually fine during the early fall, but be sure to have at least one pair of sturdy shoes. Check with your school to confirm dress code guidelines. Common concerns include extremely short skirts and shorts, low rise pants, bare midriffs, spaghetti strap or halter tops, exposed undergarments, and clothing that have antisocial messages.

Review information as soon as possible (about your child’s teacher, room number, school supply requirements, sign ups for after-school sports and activities, school calendar dates, bus transportation, health and emergency forms, etc.) to avoid any first-day-of-school delays.

Not a shopping tip, but I read somewhere that when your baby starts school, you should plan an outing or something fun for yourself that first day, so it wont be quite as difficult. I plan on doing that this year.
