Most places still have snow on the ground and Florida has brown patches, chinch bugs and lots of weeds already. This is the time of the year that I just don’t like. Everything looks yucky and just no fun at all to be out in the yard. What better time than now to start with getting your lawn in shape for spring. We have a few short weeks left and it will be nice and warm again for us to spend lots of time outside in the sun and to have a great lawn is just the thing to welcome spring and say goodbye to winter.

I strolled my local hardware store the other day to see what we could use to spruce up the lawn and saw the new and improved formula from Scott Bonus S. It’s the most effective Scotts Turf Builder ever that’s guaranteed to clear out listed weeds including dollar weed and clover. It controls 82% more types of weeds and is now safe for more major southern grass types including St. Augustine grass (including Floratam), Bermuda grass, centipede grass, zoysiagrass, seashore paspalum and buffalo grass. The best part, it is available at major retailers in the Jacksonville – Ft. Myers area

I can’t wait to see what the new Scott Bonus S formula will do on my lawn, of course, I will share pictures a few times to give you a progress updated. Maybe you want to grab a bag next time you are at your local Walmart or Home Depot and take the green grass challenge with me? I’m dreaming of a lush green NO WEED yard this spring and can’t wait to see it and feel it.

I know our lawn is going to need a lot of work this spring once the snow melts. Scotts is a great brand, we used it last year.

I sure am glad we don’t have to pay for lawn care. Living in an apartment I don’t need to be worried as it’s part of our rent and maintenance fee heck I don’t even have to shovel the snow.
If I own my own house I would rather do the lawn care myself and not have to pay a arm and a leg and I think this is a great idea to do it yourself. I am looking forward to seeing how it makes your yard look.

I agree. I think everyone’s yard looks pathetic this time of year. I know mine does. I really need to try this. I trust Scott’s.
