We had another wonderful opportunity to review one of the amazing Gooseberry patch cook books; this time we got the “Quick & Easy Christmas 
But that’s not all, besides the amazing recipes, which have been submitted by amazing people like you and me, you know they have been tested and cooked many many times and they are just amazing dinner ideas on every single page, there are tips and ideas on how to decorate for the Holidays, some recipe variations or just conversation starter ideas are also part of this wonderful book.
If you know Gooseberry Patch and all of their wonderful books, you know this is another book that needs to be in your collection and won’t disappoint; recipe over recipe you will love every single one, because it came from people like you and me.
We made a few different recipes out of this book so far like the Cherry Christmas Pizza or the Chicken Popovers; all were delicious. We decided to have Teriyaki Chicken for dinner and wanted to share the recipe with all of you. It was sooo yummy… (*I’m so sorry I don’t have pic’s, I was soo sick the last few weeks and hubby forgot to take pic’s of all the yummy creations he made out of this book.. I will updated the post with pic’s as soon as I can*)
Teriyaki Chicken
This is what you need:
2/3 c. soy sauce
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 t. ground ginger
1/8 t. garlic powder
4 to 5 boneless, skinless chicken breast
cooked rice.
This is how to make it:
In a skillet over medium heat, whisk together soy sauce, sugar, ginger and garlic powder. When heated through, add chicken. Cover and simmer basting chicken occasionally with sauce, for about 30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through. Uncover and cook an additional 10 minutes, or until sauce thickens. Serve with rice; serves 4-6
