Gorton’s Seafood Review & Giveaway & Sweepstake

Boy do I have lots to tell you about the Gorton seafood… first up..we love seafood and this was a wonderful change the other day; we were running out of time and had a few bags of the Gorton’s fish in the freezer, so we threw together this recipe.. check it out below.

This is what you will need for this Yummy dish:

12 Gorton’s Classic Breaded Fish Sticks
1 large onion, sliced
1 large green pepper, sliced
1 large red pepper, sliced
1 large orange or yellow pepper, sliced
1 tsp garlic, minced
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 Tbsp dry fajita seasoning mix
6 – 8″ flour tortillas
1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

 

This is how to prepare this quick dinner

  1. Prepare Gorton’s Classic Breaded Fish Sticks according to package instructions.
  2. In the meantime, heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium high heat, sauté garlic, onions and peppers for 5-7 minutes and blend with Fajita seasoning.
  3. Place 2 cooked fish sticks in center of each tortilla, top each with vegetable mixture and 1/4 cup of cheese and serve immediately.

This was a hit in our house and so easy to prepare, Publix had the Gorton’s breaded Fish Sticks BOGO last week, so if you grabbed a bag or two, this should make for a cheap dinner…Gorton’s is a family favorite here in the Crazy Mom’s house and if you run out of ideas on what to cook for dinner, check out Gorton’s wonderful recipe collection HERE
