Halloween Costume…

October 6, 2010 By Melanie Roberts 12 Comments

I love to be creative in making my kids Halloween Outfits, I already posted some HERE and HERE and  now I found pictures of when my Tween was a Toddler and I just had to share his outfit, maybe will give you some Ideas. I just HATE to pay an arm and a leg for an outfit…

My Little Scarecrow….

Here is what you need:

Old Overalls, can be too small, too

Old Button Up or any Shirt you like with long sleeve

Old Hat ( we bought at Godwill for a buck)

Pack of Craft “Hay” no idea what they call it, Michael sells it and it;s like a buck or two for a big package

Glue Gun

How make it :

Take your Hot Glue Gun and glue Hay on the inside of the arms and legs, inside the pockets and on the Hat…..

That’s it… add some red cheeks and a black nose (or you don’t need anything at all)and your little Scarecrow is ready to go “Scare” someone… he was wayy too cute…

Oh wow, thank you for this tip. Somehow, I am still in the middle of deciding on what my 16 months old baby could wear as a halloween costume. Any suggestions? Liked your facebook page today, hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Mel… Thanks for the visit, when my oldest was that age we made him a skelleton, we found at walmart a black t-shirt that had bones on them, and then a black pants painted his face white and he had a ball…. let me think about it and get back to you with some more ideas… nice to have you here
