Ham & Swiss Stromboli it’s what’s for dinner at our house tonight. It’s been hot in Florida and I have a lot of work at the office. I’m always looking for quick dinner ideas, but I also want to stay true to our semi-home cooked and somewhat healthy challenge that I started as my New Year’s resolution and so far unlike all the other resolutions have not broken.
All the kids have different ideas of what they want for dinner and if I had the time I would make each their favorite, but we all know budget and time won’t allow for that so I had to come up with a new favorite that everyone will love and is simple to make.
We love sandwiches, we love subs so why not make your very own Stromboli in like 15 minutes at home. All the kids agreed on Swiss Cheese and Ham, but you could certainly use whatever meat and cheese your family likes best. I see a lot of potential in this dinner idea and I know it will come handy with a lot of variations. I kind of feel like I could make this every single night, dish up a different taste and still get a WOW mom, I loved dinner tonight. Isn’t that what we all love to hear? Well, check out how simple my Ham and Cheese Stromboli’s are, you will want to make these I just know it.
Did I promise too much? Don’t they look delicious? So simple? Something everyone would love?? Yeah, I thought so. It was a huge hit in our house the other night and I just had to share it with you. It will be a great snack cold as well, you could pack it for lunch the next day or have some leftovers and enjoy them as a movie snack. The possibilities are truly endless. I’m planning on adding some spinach or arugula to mine the next time around, a little vinaigrette and cheese and I have a simple sandwich, hot fresh from the oven in now time. All on a budget and done in minutes!
What will you dish up for dinner this week? Would love to hear it. Check out our Meal Plan below and see if you can find something else your family will fall in love with.

Sunday: Mom’s night off!! Dinner at Mimi’s House
P.s. as many of you know I love cooking in my Bellini Kitchen Master (Affiliate link), it’s such a big time saver so most of our meals are cooked in the machine during the week and the best part all homemade and used fresh ingredients and it takes the same time it would for me to use pre-made dinners from the store. I’m in love and as you can tell from our meal plan we are in for some great meals this week.
As always, we are linked up with I’m an organizing Junkie, so be sure to check out her post, sometimes 100+ meal plans a week posted, some great ideas to be found there.
