I know I been telling you for some time now how much I love to save money and I try my hardest to get as many savings for you as I can. It sometimes can be a challenge. When I was asked to review this little book called Fix It, Make It, Grow It, Bake It: The D.I.Y. Guide to the Good Life, the Author of this Book is Billee Sharp, I knew this was right up my ally. I was excited when I got the book and read it all in an hr., which in my house is a luxury, I actually took my Lunch Hour at work to read it.

The book is chock full of tips and ideas like what kind of herbal Tea will be most beneficial to you and your family? This I actually knew, growing up in Germany we used tea a lot to heal certain minor issues like peppermint for tummy problems or Thyme for Bronchitis… But this isn’t all the book also tells you make fun Dyeing projects with the kids with products that you already have at home or how to DRY your Cell phone (!!! now you can’t tell me you haven’t dropped your cell phone in water …  you know darn well you probly had to buy a new one….!!!!)….This book would have saved you from spending money on a new phone.. or

How to make your own Bread from scratch.. starting with a Sourdough Starter… which this would be a great project for the kids since you have to “feed” the starter every few weeks…. We had something similar when I grew up, back then it was a cake and us kids loved to “feed” stir and get it ready for baking 2 -3 weeks later… was soo much fun..!!

it will also tell you how to make your own yogurt… or some recipes  to go with each holiday as well as Holiday Gift ideas.. should I go on?? I know this book is small..
