Eitech Forest Vehicles Metal Building Kit

This is a wonderful new company; By new meaning new to the US. This company has been around in Germany since 1955, building and creating Metal Building Kits for Tweens and up.  When I was little I loved playing and creating with Eitech. I remember when I was about 8, my uncle who was only 6 years older then me got one of the Eitech Sets for Christmas and we sat there all Christmas eve, Christmas day and the 2nd Christmas day ( more on how Germany celebrates Christmas in a few weeks….lol) building, playing, taking apart and re-building and coming up with our own creations.

This is such an amazing product, it will keep even your busiest Tween sitting still for a little bit while creating a cool new Toy that they can be proud of and say “I made that”… No TV, no PC involved just plain old imagination and the tools provided by the company that come in each kit.

Now I left Germany 15 years ago and had my own children. I remembered Eitech, but until recently did not remember that this would be a awesome product for my Tween and Teen to share. I was thrilled when I found that Eitech is now available in the US and as of November 10th, they have their US web-page up and running with all the cool products they offer here in the US. They also have a Blog that keeps you updated on all the cool new products, the stores that offer them and anything else you need to know.

I was more then excited when I was asked to review this Eitech Off-Road Vehicles Radio Control Metal Building Kit with my boys. It instantly brought back all the great memories I have of “home” with my family and I knew I just had to tell you guys about it.

But before I told everyone I wanted to make sure this Eitech  product is still  what I was used to back in Germany. Us Germans are known for great constructions and buildings, so I wanted to make sure it holds up to my standards. Let me tell you it did, it by  far surpassed my expectations.

I knew it was a great product from playing with it when I was a little girl, but now I’m a mom and you look at things a little differently. We got the package in the mail and anything that comes in, is off limits to my kids till I had a chance to review and make my own picture. Well this product wasn’t any different, I made my announcement and all were excited about the product, yet they knew the rule… hahah best part is, Mom gets to play with everything first….

Finally it was the Boys turn, they spend about  one hour, together reading the manual ( which by the way was a picture step by step instructions booklet) and building their Eitech Off-Road Vehicles Radio Control Car.

All the little metal pieces are included with the kit along with all the tools required to build your Metal Building Kit. it was a lot of fun for my Tween and my Teen. Once the car was finished it was fun for the whole family. We had a ball racing the Eitech Off-Road Vehicles Radio Control Car thru the house and have the Toddler and even the dogs chase it… it was a blast. What an amazing product and company.

I had to contact the company a few times in working with them and I always got very fast and prompt response back with any question that I had. They were wonderful to work with. So I have no doubt if you have any questions, or can’t figure out how something works they always have some knowledgeble people standing by to help. But it probly will be rare that you need help, the instructions are great to follow and my teen and tween did it on their own. But it is always good to know there is someone if you need them…

This makes a wonderful Christmas present for any Teen or Tween, the age recommendation is 8+, I highly recommend the company and all their products.
