Remembering when I was Young Book and Coloring Set.

The Author Carole Carson, a grandmother who has appeared on the NBC Today Show, the CBS Early Show and many other TV and radio shows wanted my readers to know all about her cool book and asked me to review this for her.

This When I was Young Book is really cool and cute. It is more a make believe Book that you can read with your little one and tickle their imagination…

The Book is playful and engaging, kind of like “What if…”.

When you look at the book you enter an upside-down world, where kids pants are held up by giant balloons and clouds are stored in boxes. This is a make believe world where icicles only come in 3 flavors and cows give hot chocolate Milk.

My kids loved to see what came next in the story and I kept getting “Wow mom you are old”…. it was truly a fun and imaginary book, that will keep your little ones imagination going for a long time. How about have them come up with their own “what if…” story… to add to the book. This book is every child’s fantasy by ” we always had pebbles for Snacks” or The Trees went on hikes But bears stood Quiet  Still… All the illustrations are hand drawn and just perfect for the story.

What a great Christmas present this would be for any little one and the story time you and your little one will share with this Book will be priceless… This book also has a Coloring Book that goes along with the book, so kids can color their OWN make Believe book.


In the back of the Book you can add your own family memories, friends, growing up, play and all kind of questions you can fill out to remember all those things and share with your little ones.

We truly enjoyed the book from my Tween to my Toddler they all had a great time reading and exploring the pages.
