I can’t believe Scotts Turf Builder got my Lawn ready for Spring

I can’t believe Scotts Turf Builder got my Lawn ready for Spring

It’s beautiful in Florida, the sun is perfect, not too hot, not too cold and the humidity is at bay. Perfect time to spend a few days in yard before all that goes away and we will be stuck inside the house for the next 8 months. That’s the life in Florida. But hey, at least my yard looks immaculate this year.

A few weeks ago, I wouldn’t have guessed that my lawn could look good, I did take the challenge with Scotts Bonus S, because Bonus S is an existing lawncare product designed specifically for southern grass and weeds. A new, more effective formula that’s guaranteed to clear out listed weeds including dollarweed and clover is being rolled out this spring, in two markets in Florida.

We had a lot of those dollarweeds and stinging needles in the yard and I hated it, some spots had nothing but weed and others well.. were non existent. Looking at my yard 2 months ago and today, I probably would say it looks the same… BUT… when I actually looked at the pictures in comparison.. OMG; I couldn’t believe it and totally believe that Scotts Bonus S did the job and did it well!

Can you see it.. can you?? OMG, II;’m very impressed. Without my pictures to look back at, I probably would not have spoken as highly about the Scott Bonus S products, I honestly didn’t think there was much of a difference, but now… WOW… is all I can say. If you look to the right side of the second picture there is dollar week and other weeds all along the house and the fence, about a foot or so into the yard if not more, now look into the same spot on the picture on the left, the second picture, taken about 8 weeks later!! Can you see it??  Also all the brown spots in the first picture are no longer there in the after picture!! WHOOT. Now don’t panic, you are seeing a few spots on the after picture, but… all that was weeds that totally got killed off and now slowly the grass is moving in, I’m impressed and loving the results.

Since most of you are probably still under a snow cover, I have to brag a bit about my awesome lawn that is green and lush as can be. Isn’t it beautiful? See, if you would be living in Florida, say Jacksonville or maybe Naples area this is what Scotts Bonus S could do for your lawn, too. I love Florida, it’s just awesome this time of the year, wish I could bottle it, along with my lawn! At least I have my guarantee with Scotts Bonus S, it will be beautiful anytime I give my lawn an extra boost, unlike the weather, that does what it wants to… LOL.

Just in case you are in Florida, be sure to check out the new and improved Scotts Bonus S, to have a green weed free lawn in now time, too.

  • It’s the most effective Bonus S Scotts Turf Builder formula ever that’s guaranteed to clear out listed weeds including dollarweed and clover.
  • It controls 82% more types of weeds.
  • Now safe for more major southern grass types including St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), bermudagrass(new), centipedegrass, zoysiagrass, seashore paspalum(new) and buffalograss(new).
  • Available at major retailers across the state.

While I enjoy my fresh no mosquito and no humidity lawn for a few days, why don’t you head out to your local store and grab a bag or two of the Scotts Bonus S and get your Lawn in shape. Don’t forget to check out Scotts on the web and follow on Facebook, you could also tweet along on twitter for more lawncare tips.

That’s a noticeable improvement! Our lawn needs help. It’s mostly clover, crabgrass and weeds, with some bald spots mixed in.

I’ve used Scott’s brand products to build up our grass. We had weeds and dirt in our back yard the first year we moved in. In the course of one year, its fully grassed! We now just have to maintain weeds and we use Scott’s weed and feed for that. I’m so happy with their products!

Are you sure these aren’t pictures from a local golf course? (LOL)! Wow, you did a great job, so lush and full. I guess I should take a look at Scott’s Turf Builder. Thanks for the post!
