My Toddler loves spending time in the sand, if I would let her, she would be in the sand 24/7. We’ve bought her lots of sand toys, but they never seem to last more than a few weeks, so I decided to splurge a little and bought her some nice Melissa & Doug
Have you checked them out, what are your thoughts? I think they are so stinking cute, I hope they hold up to my expectations.. will keep ya all posted. But in the meantime, check them out over at Amazon.com and see the entire selection for yourself.

We have a number of Melissa & Doug toys. Some of their toys are better than some of their others (some hold up good and some don’t). My mother picks up puzzles and things really cheap in the Marshalls/Home Goods stores. I have found BJ’s and Sam’s Club carrying their toys periodically throughout the year at lower prices. We picked up a whole set of musical instruments at Sam’s Club at a clearance price–real cheap, couldn’t touch this price anywhere. There is a lot of singing and playing instruments in our homeschooling curriculum, so these came in really handy. I wouldn’t say they were high-quality, but they’ll do for now.
