Ever since I met my husband 10+ years ago, he spoke of the Monster trucks he had a HUGE collection and that was his favorite time with his dad visiting the show in Tampa. Every year around January I had to listen to his stories of how much he loves the show and he so wants to go back; he even pulled out his old DVD’s VHS tapes (yeah… we are THAT old…lol) and watched his taped shows for hours. Every year we made plans to go and see the show and every year something came up. This year was different, I surprised my boys and hubby with tickets to the #MonsterJam show in Tampa, Florida, after I received some tickets in exchange for the review.
My husband was beside himself, and again, couldn’t stop talking about how cool the Monster trucks were and how awesome Grave Digger is and oh, the smell in the stadium is next to no other and he went on and on like a little boy the night before Christmas.
Last Saturday was finally the long awaited day and we made it a full family day; we left for Tampa around noon to make it to the World’s Ultimate Pit Party. We couldn’t pass up the chance to hang out with the drivers, check out the trucks up close and just have a fun family afternoon. We had no idea that we could spend endless hours in the Pit Party; they had lots of kids activities, bouncy house as well as a ride on a real Monster truck…. GRAVE DIGGER (for $10 per person cost).
The Pit Pass for the awesome Pit Party was $10.00 at Ticket Master, but a lot of Ford Dealers in the area had FREE Pit Passes they handed out, since the show is rolling into Orlando next weekend (January 25th), this would be an awesome place to hang out for a day and have lots of #MonsterJam fun. Be sure to check your local Ford Dealer and see if they have a Free Pit Pass for you.
Meeting some of the drivers up-close was a lot of fun; they were wonderful, spend time with us, signed autographs and posed for pictures. The boys loved it and hubby was in heaven. I sure scored some wife brownie points. We got to the Pit party right when they opened at 2 and spend all afternoon and time flew by. The only downside, it was chilly in Florida, but still lots of fun.
Raymond James Stadium was turned into a massive #MonsterJam event; the party moved from the Pit Party inside the Stadium and it was HUGE! The crowd was amazing, pumped up and ready for some metal crushing. The show was AWESOME!!! The atmosphere was indescribable and a ton of fun. I had never been to a Monster Jam event and had a blast. The noise, the smell and the fun was just pure Family entertainment. This was one event I would not hesitate twice taking my entire family; we saw little kids, big kids, grandparents and everyone had a blast.
Once the show started it was pure entertainment! The stunts were amazing, totally entertaining and just got me on the edge of my seat a few times… action pure and adrenaline all the way… SO MUCH FUN!!!
Tickets are very affordable as well, so if you are looking for clean and fun Family entertainment for next weekend, head to Orlando, grab the family and spend $ ONLY $15 on a Super value, $35 VIP or $25 Sideline ticket. You can get a family of 4 into an evening of fun and entertainment for under $100 including drinks and food, AMAZING!!! You can’t even go out to dinner for that, let alone spend like 5 hours and more (if you do the Pit Party) entertaining your family!! I’m speechless and totally in love with the show, the event and the ambiance.
Since we had soo much fun, I really wanted to stress if you are near the Orlando area, you don’t want to miss this fantastic show. One of the many highlights of this year’s event is the return of fan favorite Dennis Anderson (originator and driver of GRAVE DIGGER) to the city and stadium he calls his favorite.
There will be one show only on Orlando and it will be January 25th; the same line up of cars as at the Tampa event, so I know it will be AWESOME and a super good crush time for all!
