Kidz-Med VeraTemp Non-Contact Thermometer {Review}

Kidz-Med VeraTemp Non-Contact Thermometer

Kidz-Med VeraTemp Non-Contact Thermometer

With Flu and Cold Season upon us, it’s always a challenge in my house to check the temperature of my little one. She hates the old under arm method, the one under the tongue or if she has an ear ache, the ear thermometer is totally out of the question. I knew there had to be something else, something simpler that is easy for mom’s to use and yet accurate to make sure the little ones are okay.

After a little research I found a company called Kidz-Med, they have a brand new product that is suppose to be ALL I ever wanted and then some. I knew I had to check it out and tell all my readers about this. if we love it, I know you will, too.

I received the Kidz-Med VeraTemp Non-Contact Thermometer in the mail the other day and was super excited to learn how to use it. I opened the box and within 2 seconds it was ready, even came with it’s on set of batteries. I’m impressed!!…. that was too easy…?? I grabbed the instructions, just to make sure. Point and shoot.. that’s it? I don’t even have to touch my sick little one? Okay, I called in the Toddler and tested it on her….

How cool is that? It worked and not only did it work on checking your little ones temperature, it even has an option to check the room temperature and another option to check a surface temperature. You can also switch with the push of a button between Fahrenheit and Celsius, which comes in handy for me, I still “think” the German way in Celsius.

We spend a good hour “playing” with this No Touch Thermometer and decided that this deserves TWO BIG Thumbs UP!!!

How did we like it ?
As you can already hear from the above review, we LOVE this
Kidz-Med VeraTemp Non-Contact Thermometer. It is simple, and does a lot more than a regular Thermometer. The price is $39.99 fairly reasonable for such an amazing product. This Thermometer shouldn’t be missing in any household with little ones, or missing period. EVERYONE should have one even Mom’s & dad’s… it’s not just for kids, it can help you with lots of different task throughout the house, checking bath water temperature, food temperature, room temperature and much more.

Operation is simple and easy, push the Mode button to select Body, Room or Surface temperature, then point at the object and hit the big “shoot” button, within seconds the Temperature will appear. AWESOME!!!

    This one sounds great Melanie! Thank you for reviewing it. We will be putting it on our Santa list and I’ll be keeping a couple in our gift closet for a great shower gift for new parents. I can’t believe you don’t have to touch anyone with this! Awesome! With my old one, I spend more time hitting 1 button for 3 minutes while I get it on the right mode. And it’s totally unreliable for using under the tongue or under the arm. This is perfect. Now if it only had a Hear-mom-meter setting that would indicate when my toddler is listening to me 🙂 Thanks again for this awesome review!!

    We’ve been pretty happy with an ear thermometer, but love all the other bonus uses of this one. May have to keep an eye out for a good price!

    Boy do we need this! It’s expensive though. My grandson hates when I take his temperature and struggles with me through the whole thing! We need something accurate, but simple, like this!
