It’s not a secret that I’m German. Most of my readers know I share a lot of recipes, travel info and anything I can find about my home country. For me it’s like bringing a little of my home, which I miss so much, to all of you here in the US. When I moved to the US close to 20 years ago, I left everything behind that was familiar to me from my friends to the language and all my products that I grew up with.

For years I longed after this or that and thanks to the internet many things have made their way to the US. Did you know that a few years back in 2012 my all-time favorite yogurt company stepped onto US soil and is now bringing my treasured yogurt to all the Walmart stores across the nation?  I bet you’ve seen them all over the place, but have you tried them yet? I’m talking about Müller Greek Corner Yogurt.

The company was actually established in a small German town in 1896 by Ludwig Müller, as time went on and the company grew in 1963 they laid the foundation for more growth. Back then they produced cheese products and later in 1980 is where the actual products like we know as “Müller Products” are produced and shipped across Germany. In Germany Müller is a household name and everyone knows the brand and their amazing high quality dairy products and finally fast forward to 2012 and now everyone in the US can experience the amazing flavors the Müller Company has produced in Germany and many other parts of the world for decades. If you know anyone that served in the military and was stationed in Germany, I dare you to ask them about “Müller Yogurt’. I bet they’ll  tell you all about it and ask them about the Müller Milch (so wish that would be here… maybe one of those days… hint, hint to the amazing folks at Müller).

I know you probably think you’ve tried every Greek yogurt on the market and you may or may not be a fan, I guarantee you, if you give Müller Greek Corner Yogurt a try you will love it! There is no chalky or starchy taste, its pure heaven. It’s creamy, light sweet, not too much not too little, just perfect and everyone I shared my Müller Greek Corner Yogurt with got addicted.

Müller Greek Corner Yogurt comes in a few different flavors and each has the corner filled with either fruit or nuts, separate from the yogurt; I love that! Everyone is different in eating their yogurt. You have the one that mixes everything just right, one eats one bite of yogurt with one bite of fruit, the other eats all the yogurt first and then the fruit, either way you like to eat your yogurt, you can have it and eat it, too!

How do you like to eat your corner yogurt?

Most of the Müller Greek Corner yogurts are a good source of protein and an excellent source of calcium. Most of the yogurts are gluten free, with no high-fructose corn syrup and no artificial sweeteners, flavors or preservatives.

I love giving a corner to the kids in their lunchbox or after they come in from their soccer practice as a quick snack or pick me up. As a mom knowing that no bad “stuff” and a lot of the good and healthy “stuff” is in the Müller Greek Corner yogurts makes me feel good giving the yogurt as a snack option often. I love taking mine to the office for an afternoon snack and the high protein keeps me satisfied till dinner rolls around and the sweetness of the yogurt even curbs my cravings for some sweet, too.

Müller Greek Corner yogurts is one snack you can give to your family as a breakfast or afternoon snack anytime and not feel guilty about. My kids all have their favorite flavor. One thing for sure, I can’t wait to see more Müller products hit the store shelves. I’m all about high quality, low cost & deliciousness and Müller has it all!
