Summer is back and the kids are out of school and our favorite Intern returned to our office. What could be better? How about a delicious lunch? Lunch is always a big debate at our office, we all have our ideas and favorite places and usually around 10 am everyone keeps asking “Where are you going for lunch?”. A few days ago our favorite Intern asked me if she could grab me a bite to eat, she wanted to get out of the office. At first I declined, I usually stay in for lunch, but I quickly remembered that there was a restaurant down the street, too far from my home, but close enough for a lunch run. I grabbed my phone and looked up a Restaurant.com certificate for Anthony’s Health Hut.

I had heard lots of great things about them, but mainly because they aren’t just a restaurant, they have a Health store inside the restaurant, or would you say a restaurant is inside the health store? Either way, I was able to grab a Restaurant.com certificate to make our lunch sweeter and within minutes I had it purchased and printed and on our way we went.

Restaurant.com certificates don’t always have to be for dinner; Lunch was a great option! All I can say is “WOW”. We both were very, I mean VERY, impressed with the place! It almost looked like a hole in the wall, but the menu was amazing, affordable and soooo healthy. I couldn’t get over that they had been in our community for over 36 years and this is the first time I came for a visit; it won’t be the last!

I love veggie sandwiches and for about $6 bucks I got this huge plate of food. Let me tell you, one half of this sandwich would have filled me up easily, but I was too embarrassed to ask for a doggie bag, I ate it all up; it was delicious! My favorite Intern ordered a Bean Burger and raved about it for hours! She even Texted her Twin to tell her all about the amazing restaurant we found for lunch.

We also had to try one of their amazing smoothies. They were made without ice, milk or flavoring. Pure goodness. I had the Mango Colada and my favorite Intern had Pina Colada, both had coconut water and fresh frozen fruit. The smoothies were AMAZING!!

We found our new favorite place in town, the lunch for both of us including each meals and a large Smoothie after my amazing Restaurant.com certificate was $11; you can’t beat that! The best part, with every order you get a FREE bowl of Frozen Yogurt! It was delicious, we couldn’t stop eating the Frozen Yogurt, I’m not a big fan of ice cream but LOVED the Frozen Yogurt!! Did I say it was Free?

Thanks to restaurant.com I was able to find another gem in our town. The staff was wonderful, friendly and accommodating, answered questions and offered us Free Frozen Yogurt, hello… that was AMAZING! Another unique thing, the restaurant had an entire health store from supplements to gluten free products there was everything available. I wish I had more time to spend and look around, one hour lunch just wasn’t enough to eat and explore, we will be back…. that’s a promise!
