Lots of fun this summer with the Beamz player Interactive Music System #Cbias

We are a very musical family; we love to listen to music, dance to music and the Teen even plays a few instruments, like the Bass Guitar, e-guitar and anything else that he comes across and recently found his love of singing as well; the Tween is learning some instruments as well and the Princess is just happy to jump around to the beat.

Nowadays it’s super easy to get the kids involved in some kind of music activity, there are video games available, iPods and MP3 players everywhere, so no excuse, have the kids get off the couch and Move it.. let’s move it Baby…..

A few days ago another interesting “toy” arrived. I have to admit, I had no idea what it was and my Tween and teen both jumped for joy; I thought it would be something fun for them to do during the summer, but I quickly found out that the Beamz player, which is an Interactive Music System is a family favorite; we even had to make a schedule as to when and who gets to “play” with it.

First up, if you don’t know what a Beamz Player is… some info for you, since I had to get educated myself, too….

Beamz Interactive, Inc. has created a new interactive laser controller technology that can be used to develop new market opportunities in a wide variety of music, game, and consumer applications. System Requirements:
– Connect via USB to laptop or desktop host computer with 1.3GHz processor or greater (with 2.0GB RAM and 5GB available HDD) running Windows 7, Vista with service pack 2 or XP. The Beamz Player Software may be used on MAC computers with a Windows license within Boot Camp or PC virtualization applications.
– DVD-ROM drive for software and content installation.
– The ShadowBeamz interactive music game requires Adobe Flash 10.0 or greater (free download available from Adobe).

Installation was a breeze and we actually downloaded the onstallation disc onto a memory card so we where able to play it on our Netbook and that way the kids won’t occupy the family PC for days… we had no problem at all installing and setting the system up; we are on a Windows PC/ Netbook that runs Windows 7.

Now that we’ve gone over all the “technical” things, check out some of the videos below… it was priceless to see my Princess and her Teen play …. even my husband LOVES this interactive Beamz Player; all I keep hearing from the kids room “This is super cool”.. “AWESOME”… “WOW, I love this song”… “H… YEAH”…. you should be here to listen to the conversation …. “OGM.. this is so cool… said the Princess” … “Best thing ever, totally ROCKS said the hubby” and the Tween and Teen have yet to stop playing with this; it’s going on 4 days solid…!!!!

Can you see how much fun my 4 year old had?? This is soo much fun.. check out what my Teen actually did… this video will show you that you can play a guitar or whatever instrument is needed for the song…..

Now, wasn’t that super cool???
