We are always looking for new and exciting games to play with my toddler and you know I love to introduce you to cool new games. I got a box in the mail the other day and I got really excited. Out came the new Domino Build from Mega Blocks, my toddler was ecstatic and couldn’t wait to play it. So we went ahead and checked the new game out a little bit further… and we found out that….

… This game is for ages 3-6, so perfect for your toddler or pre-schooler and the game will help your Toddler learn his/her colors, numbers, matching and motor skills all in one game. This game is very colorfull which was the first thing that appealed to me and made it stand out. Love the colors… and the pictures on the Domino pieces are too cute…

This is what’s included in the box:


16 Maxi Mega Blocks – each will be a different color and animal
30 Domino Tiles – different color and animal
4 Animal Character Cards
1 Instruction Sheet

Once we had the game outside the box, my toddler didn’t even wait for me to try to tell her how to play, she started to match up the colors and animals, she spend a good hour just matching the cards, which I love that this game can be used in so many different ways. Once she was done matching we got to play the actual game… she had a ball.. of course she won J and had her animal build before anyone else. After she was done playing she started to build towers with the mega blocks and showed all of us how high she can build. She had a ball with this game for hours… she mixed and matched the animals and then created the “correct” animal again.. it was a blast.

This is a wonderful game, and your little one will get a lot of playing time out of this game, whether it be just the simple matching and playing like we did or the more advanced actual domino game… I love that this game is so versatile and can grow with your little one and get him/ her the skill she/he needs to start Kindergarten.

  9. I have a 2 year old nephew that I babysit every weekend. Every weekend he asks me if I brought him a prize (yes, his aunt spoils him!) We would have so much fun playing with these blocks!

  29. I am always looking for new toys that will help my daughter develop her coordination skills. For now, she would just be interested in building the animal blocks, but as she gets older, we could also teach her the game!
