I remember back in the day when I was a Teen, we had those big Boom Boxes that we took everywhere with us so we could take our favorite music on the go. I remember being so proud of my Boom Box and of course we stuffed all our pockets with the tapes that go along with them. Memories…, that was the good ol’ days.

Fast forward to 2011 and if you have a iPhone or an iPod , which, if you have a Teen in the home is probly attached to his/her hip. They only carry the iphone/ iPod and nothing else, however there is a cool new product that will turn your iPhone or iPod into it’s very own Boom box. It’s called Memorex PurePlay Portable Speaker . Total amazing how something so small can bring the same quality and LOUD noise that we used to carry in our Boom Box.

Gone are the days of the tape and the HUGE Boom Box and the pride of having the biggest and best stereo on town; all your teen needs nowadays is his/her iPod or iPhone and this very small and slim Portable Speaker System.

When the box arrived the other day, I thought all the company had send us was the cable box..lol.. it seemed so small to have a HUGE sound quality. My teen quickly educated me and told me that I no longer live in the 90‘s 80’s this is 2011 and we do have HIGH Quality in small compact spaces, yet the sound will blow you away. I wasn’t in a mood to argue with him, I laughed it off and said “We still had an awesome time in the 90‘s 80’s (:-) )”… lol.

Well, he tried to convince me and BOY soon as I heard the first sound come out of thisMemorex Portable Speaker system, I ran into his room and told him to turn it down.. He laughed and said ” So Mom, pretty awesome this little box isn’t it?”.

I had to admit, yes long gone are the days from the BIG Boom Box on our back, but this little speaker system that almost fits inside my purse, has a HUGE sound quality. The speakers are clear and the quality is awesome. The cool thing is you iPhone or iPad fits right in and your entire sound selection will come to live for everyone, yes everyone even your neighbors to hear !

The kids had a ball when we took it into the backyard, we  finally have a way of bringing our music and listening together, instead of everyone on their own iPod .

This Portable speaker system from Memorex can be used with the Power adapter that is included in the package as well as 4 AAA, which are not included, however this would make this wonderful unit portable and can be taken anywhere you like.

The Speaker System doesn’t just produce High Quality Sound, it will also charge your iPone or iPod, while listening to your favorite Tune.

Don’t have an iPhone or iPod? No problem, this device has also Line-in Jack to connect other Mp3 devices. Super cool, my Tween can even hook up his MP3 player when he likes to listen to his songs.
