You know for us to stay organized, we create a Menu Plan on the blog every week. It works well for our family to stay on budget and eliminates the 5 o’clock fast food run. So far the blog plan has worked well, but over and over I get a call from the kids “What’s for dinner Mom” and for easy access I decided to hang the plan in our Menu are in the kitchen as well.
In search of some cute Menu Plan ideas, I went to Pinterest and Google to help me find some cute plans that I could use and I quickly found a wonderful website called “My Computer is my Canvas”. Her Menu plan printable was amazing and just what I had been looking for, colorful and a new design for every month. I love the idea to change out colors in my home, I get bored quickly with the same design, so this was wonderful.
It didn’t take me long at all to decide that I had to have a set of the Menu Planning Pintables and for $12.50 for the entire Menu Plan Printable Set, that was a small price to pay once I found out that Colette, the owner of the shop and blog is going through a very rough time, her husband is battling cancer and this mother of 4 is keeping the family together by creating amazing pintables and selling them to add to the medical fund… I was touched by this; she has such an amazing talent and a beautiful family. I don’t even know Colette nor her family and just because I found her Menu Plan online made me feel like they have touched me in many ways. I was blessed to have found her artwork and didn’t even think twice to order a set.
It was super easy to print my Menu Plans and they look amazing. I did end up purchasing a pack of cardstock at Hobby Lobby (50 in a pack for $2.99) and that made a world of difference in printing; you can always have a office supply store print them for you. Trust me, they look amazing and if you laminate them like I did, they will last you forever.
These also would make amazing housewarming or wedding gifts; print a set and laminate it; attach a ribbon and some recipes, maybe a basket of your favorite products and hand it over to the new homeowner or the bride to be.
Now you can keep a Menu Plan in style in your kitchen in no time and show everyone What’s cookin’ for the week. For more information and to see all the cool printables that Colette has to offer, there are even some free ones, be sure to visit her website and Etsy store, don’t forget to follower her on Facebook to keep up with new printables as well as AMAZING sales and discount codes…. Keep up the great work Colette and God Bless your family, we will keep you guys in our prayers…..
