I’m so excited. It’s finally time again for the Monster Trucks to roll into Central Florida. This past weekend we had the pleasure, courtesy of Monster Jam®, to enjoy the awesome Monster Jam show in Tampa, Florida. Like in the years past it’s a huge family event for us.
This year was amazing! Best one yet, I know. I say that every year. But you know what, that just shows you that the show gets bigger and better every single year. You will never get bored, trust me! My husband and the kids look forward to it every year and they mark their calendars. This year we grabbed a few friends and made it fun event, including tailgating in the parking lot. So much fun!
We started out with the Party in the Pits, the best thing ever! Fans get the opportunity to get a view of the trucks up close and meet the drivers of the massive Monster Jam trucks before the show. If you are thinking about attending the event in Orlando on Saturday 23rd at the Orlando Citrus Bowl, be sure to pick up a FREE Pit Passes at participating Southern Ford Dealers while supplies last. Pit Passes are also available for $10 at the Orlando Citrus Bowl box office, online at Ticketmaster.com or Charge by Phone at 800-745-3000. This is a pre-game event you don’t want to miss. It’s a family favorite and the kids no matter what age get excited to meet the drivers, year after year.
Yes, you have heard me right. The party in Tampa was amazing and is now over, but you can grab your tickets and take everyone to see this wonderful show in Orlando at the Orlando Citrus Bowl on Saturday January 23, 2016. Tickets are still available, so don’t wait and get them as soon as you can!
The official title of the event is Metro PCS, Budweiser, Circle K, & Your Southern Ford Dealers presents MONSTER JAM® brought to you by BKT Tires.

The same crew is scheduled to be at the event in Orlando (Subject to change without notice). You will have lots to look forward to.
If you have never heard of Monster Jam, which I doubt, but just in case here is some info about the Monster Trucks. They are approximately 12 feet tall and about 12 feet wide, Monster Jam trucks are custom-designed machines that sit atop 66-inch-tall tires and weigh a minimum of 10,000 pounds. Built for short, high-powered bursts of speed, Monster Jam trucks generate 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower and are capable of speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. Monster Jam trucks can fly up to 125 to 130 feet (a distance greater than 14 cars side by side) and up to 35 feet in the air.
Pretty cool, isn’t it? Well, we had a blast as usual and are looking forward to next year. This has become a family tradition over the last few years and something we don’t want to miss anymore. Whether you are 3 or 99 this is an awesome event, different and fun. Tickets start at $15, making it a very affordable event for the entire family.
Mark your calendars, clean off I4 as the Monster Trucks are rolling from Tampa into Orlando, January 23 is the date you don’t want to miss.
