We are always on the lookout for deals and the best bang for our buck; a few weeks ago we introduced the Natural Balanced Dog food to our readers and our dogs have been absolute crazy over the food; being the good mom that I try to be I wanted to provide them with the food they love at a price that I love!
I did a little research between local pet stores and online stores and found a totally unknown to me wonderful company called Mr Chewy.com.
I spend some time comparing the pet food and treats that my dogs enjoy and noticed that they were cheaper than most online or even local retail store. I was impressed; the best part they ship for free on any order over $49.
(On my order at Mr. Chewy I saved $14.90 compared to another online pet store for the same items !!)
Can’t beat that, lowest price and Free delivery to my door… no hassle and no worries.. they will handle it all for you. I decided to place an order and see how well they handle my order and how fast delivery turnaround it. Hubby has been bugging me for days that I need to pick up some dog food since we are on our last bag from the super sale at Publix month ago.
Since orders over $49 are free shipping, I went ahead and ordered my pups some bones, and 2 bags of dog food a 15 lb. bag and a 5 lb. bag, so that’s 20 lbs. that I don’t have to cart around in the store and drag to the car and inside the house; let’s see how Mr. Chewy will handle that; I have no idea how they will ship that big of a load but, that’s their problem …right?
Immediately after my order was placed I received an e-mail confirmation telling me my order was received, all the products I had ordered and if I need to contact anyone they also had a contact info in the e-mail. I placed the order on a Wednesday between Christmas and New Years Holidays in the afternoon; that evening I received an e-mail that my order had shipped and gave me my FedEx tracking number; I was impressed when I checked my tracking number and found out that the order would be at my door on Friday afternoon, within 2 days after ordering the products… and at no additional cost to me… LOVED IT!
Since hubby has been bugging me to get some dog food, I was gonna surprise him with the box once it arrived; it was actually funny, Friday afternoon I got a call asking to pick up dog food, my answer was “Ahhhm honey, did we get a FedEx delivery today?” his reply was “Yes, we did”.. “Okay, Honey, mark dog food off the list and check out the box.”…. phone went silent…lol.. Yup, I’m such a good mom and wife.. took care of it and thanks to Mr. Chewy was able to handle it without lifting a finger…
