I haven’t been feeling well the last few weeks and like most of us, when you aren’t feeling well you want comfort; things that you are familiar with like Mac n’ Cheese or even chicken noodle soup the way Mom made it. For me comfort is my #NetflixStreamTeam. No matter how sick I’m but I find comfort in being able to find all those familiar shows, movies and episodes that I grew up with in the 80’s and 90’s and even brag to my kids how cool “Saved by the Bell” was and how fun the “Care Bears” are to watch.
I have to admit, I make my kids feel guilty when I don’t feel good and want someone to watch “The Smurfs” or even “Family Ties” with me. That doesn’t make me a bad mom, right? Just a caring mom that wants to spend all the time in the world with her kids and sharing some of the oldie but Goldie TV shows that were the “IT” in the day. On the other side, when the kids don’t feel good I will sit down and watch their comfort movies with them,too. LOl.. soo that means we are good,right?
While I had lots of time last week to catch up on my favorite 80’s and 90’s movies, I thought I bring back a little throwback for you, too and all I will say is ….. Do you remember? Which is your #TBT comfort movie?

I canceled my netflix a count a few years ago when their prices went up iver 25 percent. After reading this, I think maybe it might be time to re-subscribe! I love all those old shows! thanks!!

I did the exact same thing last night. I was having an off-day yesterday and wanted some old shows. I turned on my iPad and searched through Netflix. I love their streaming feature. We use it on all devices but mostly the Apple TV hooked up in our bedroom for late night viewing.

I totally get what you’re saying about it being comforting to watch throwback shows. I can’t do Saved By the Bell though. Never! Family Ties was awesome, so I’ll stick with that.

I remember and love all of those! I recently watched Steel Magnolias, Look Who’s Talking 1 AND 2, and Cry Baby on Netflix. I love that they have older stuff available to watch!
