My Toddler is a big Bookworm and this book quickly became a favorite in our house. I even LOVED the pictures. They are adorable. I love that kind of style makes it so much fun to read and explore. The book is very well written for little ones and the size is great for a Toddler. All pages are sturdy cardboard with some pages that have flaps, revealing hidden pictures and story lines. The flaps can be used in so many was incorporating your little one into the story, asking questions and exploring the page. I love flaps in a picture book, makes it that more fun to read.
The story is perfect for little ones ages 2 and up, but would fit well for beginning readers as well. In the book Ollie has a toy that was lost, while looking for his friend, he overcame the fear of the dark as well. Wonderful book for little ones.
