I know dinner can be a challenge and I know most of you probly have no clue what’s for dinner till 5pm hits and then everyone scrambles and runs and “OMG… what am I gonna cook for subber”…. I know we’ve all been there.

For one I used to go to the grocery store every Sunday and buy whatever I think we want and need ( long time ago bef. my coupon obsession..smile), then each night hubby called me at the office asking “What’s for subber?” He cooks most of the dinners during the week, he loves to cook and he also gets home hours before I do, so it works out.

I did notice that if we didn’t make a Menu Plan each week, he would cook whatever he felt like and maybe the same meal twice a week, didn’t matter what we had bought at the grocery store, and slowly we got into the same ol’ rud each week, fried chicken, fried pork chops, spaghetti and so on.. it gets old and honestly expensive….

So we started a Meal Plan each week and we been doing this a good 9 month now and it works wonders… We eliminated the last minute Fast Food run totally, we enjoy new meals almost every night and we spend less money at the grocery store… best part I know what we will have for dinner each night and no phone calls “what’s for dinner”…. I love it…

That brings me to how to plan your menu, that can be another challenge and sometimes a hassle each week. I do not like to make a plan each week, I push it off till the last minute before I go to bed on Sunday night, I just don’t like it. But once it is done, I LOVE it.I came across a wonderful website that will even take the “hassle” out of the planning for you. Menu for the Week.com will create a new menu each week including the grocery list and e-mail you the menu plan on Thursday. That’s soo simple, you just print it out take your list to the store and you are done. All you now have to do is cook it each night and dinner is served.

  1. I’m a stay at home mom who volunteers part time at church and homeschools, so it would be nice to throw in organized dinner time, so I wouldn’t have to run around like a chicken with it’s head cut off around dinner time! haha.

  26. Great giveaway! I woul d like to win because we are MISERABLE at meal planning. I have three month old twins and a two year old- so ‘meal planning’ is pretty much the ten minutes I have before heading out to the store!

  28. I’d love the Menu of the week because my life is busy enough as it is, with work and children and cleaning etc, I’d love to take this chore off my list!

  48. i would love to win this prize so i can organize my meals, see i am not that much of a cook yet so i often struggle on meals preparations and in buying groceries cause i sometimes don’t have any ideas on what to cook for the rest of the week. this will solve my recurring predicament
