Organize your Office to be more productive #Review

I love to be organized, it makes my little house feel less cluttered and also keeps me productive all day long. I always know where my things are and never have to look for them… WELL.. that was before my kids turned into teenagers and took on tasks like cleaning the dishwasher, folding towels and cooking dinner. My dishes, towels and anything else they touch end up all over the place and they think it’s perfectly normal for a cup or plate to end up in the pots and pans cabinet or the towels end up under their bed. Drives me CRAZY!!

I decided to organize the one place in the house that the kids never touch a thing… MY OFFICE! 1. Use bins and boxes. That’s a BIG key for me. I use a lot of fabric bins or boxes to keep a lot of paperwork organized or those little things that always find their way to your desk. Lots of cords for the phone, the camera or anything else that lays around can be store neat in it’s little place, in a  box or bin on your shelf. I loved the See Jane Work® Decorative Storage, Low-Profile Fabric Bin and the See Jane Work® Decorative Storage, Woven Bin the most. They both are very sturdy and the perfect size to hold your different project papers, bills or whatnot.

2. Use Magazine Holders. These are a LIVESAFER!! I loved the See Jane Work® Magazine File to keep all my coupon inserts organized as well as all my cooking magazines and my princess loves to use the magazine holders for all her coloring pages and pictures. They are AWESOME; I can fit 3 in a row in one of my cubbies and that is a HUGE amount to hold for my magazines and papers.

3.  Use a desk organizer like the See Jane Work® Desktop Organizer, it’s very sturdy and has lots of room for those bills that need to be paid but aren’t quit due, mail that comes in that you haven’t had a chance to check or like I love to use it to keep my reward cards from different stores, coupons and anything else I need to find quickly, but want put in it’s place. This organizer is by far my favorite on my desk, it fits perfect with it’s slim size between my monitor and the desk, but holds a TON of paperwork in the many little compartments. LOVE it.. a desk organizer is totally a MUST have in every office!

4. Use a Pen organizer. They aren’t fancy shmanzy but totally will get the job done. I always have pens, scissors and other things all over my desk, they roll off and fall onto the floor and the dog grabs them. Drives me crazy, a simple Pencil Cup will keep you organized and won’t take long to put back all those markers, pens and other things that never have a real home. I love this little cube, it fits perfect on any desk and will hold a TON of writing utensils.

It never seems to fail; I get my desk organized and within a month; it is trashed again because little ones and the husband just throw stuff on my desk without consideration to the organizing I do. So frustrating. Do you have an organizer for the husband and kids? lol. But really having tools to keep the desk organized are a MUST and I would be lost without mine.

  23. Your little office is really cute! I could really use some of those baskets and bins right now. I have a table in the living room that I am making my “office” and I want some of them for the bottom shelf to organize.
