I made a treat for you today. I love cake pops and just could never figure out how to make them. I’ve bought the cake pop pan but wasn’t too happy with it, it worked just the flavor wasn’t what I expected. I’ve tried to cut out circles from sheet cake, and that was ok I guess, too.
No matter what I did they never came out like at Starbucks or at the store. I was a little disappointed but never gave up. So it took me almost a year of trial and error before I finally can share a blog post with you on Cake Pops (affiliate link) that I finally love!
I know, the recipe below seems like it is very difficult, but trust me, it really isn’t I just wanted to make sure I list it all and not forget anything. You could also make your very own cake mix and bake it, AFTER the cake is baked that’s when the magic happens. YES!! You won’t use it just like that, it will be too dry, and that was one issue I had for ever. NOPE, never again!
See, I told you it was super easy. Not at all intimidating, right? I’m in love with these Pumpkin cake pops, they are moist, delicious and look great as well. You can make them as big or as little as you like. You can change them theme to Christmas, Fall, Birthdays whatever you want. Everyone will love them!!
I still use my cake pop pan that I bought but guess what I use it instead? I use it for brownie pops! It’s perfect because the brownie mix doesn’t dry out and the kids love the little bites. So in the end still a cool gadget just not for my cake pops.
Do you have a favorite cake pop recipe that always turns out great and is a favorite at any party? Would love to hear all about it. Leave me a comment, share my cake pops on Pinterest if you wanna try them.
