My kids love cookies and almost every night they ask me to make some kind of dessert for them… their favorite is Oatmeal cookies The other day I made them their favorite cookies, but I made them a little different this time.. I added chocolate covered raisins, they are my favorite and I can sit there and eat the entire box in minutes, without sharing, but I never thought about using them in cookies… boy… these cookies were amazing..

Try baking with Buckwheat flour ( Ploye): It has a nice nutty aftertaste and is higher in nutrient value than wheat flour- very affordable, too.

I’ve never heard of chocolate raisins before. What a great way to get kids to be more willing to eat cookies with at least some healthiness to them.

This is a great idea, but my wife doesn’t like raisins. I guess I’ll just have to use chocolate chips – still delicious.

will still be yummy without the raisins… 🙂
