Do you have a Tween in the house? If so, ask them if they have heard of a game called REDAKAI. I bet they have. I received the game the other day and honestly, couldn’t ( and still can’t) pronounce the name. I had no clue what it is and what it will do. I kind of put it away for a bit till the Tween walked in; his first reaction was “WOW… this is REDAKAI, how did that got here Mom?”. I just grinned and pretended like I knew what I was doing and told him that I knew he would love to check it out.
Still no clue what this was all about, I ran to the PC and did a little Google research while the Tween all excitedly inspected the game.

I found out that REDAKAI Fever kicks off across America. Redakai is a ground-breaking innovation in gaming, taking trading cards to the next level with amazing Blast3D technology. Never before have trading cards contained 3D and animation effects like Redakai. New game technologies automatically track your progress and allow you to see the damaging effects of your attacks. You can challenge your friends, defeat your enemies and Conquer the Kairu!
Sounds pretty interesting, doesn’t it? So now I’m a little more educated in what Redakai is and I can talk to the Tween and see if I can figure out how to play. Redakai comes in different sets like the Redakai XReader Starter Pack, Redakai Power Pack
,Redakai Structure Deck, Redakai Championship Tin with Cards
and many other cool games. The Redakai products start at $5.99 and can be purchased through Amazon.com or any of your favorite retailer nationwide.
How did we like it?
My Tween absolutely loved it. The first thing out of his mouth was “WOW… these cards are cool, they are 3D Mom”. He spend a good hour exploring all the cards that came with his Starter Pack. The best part, each card is “special”, each card has the 3D effect. Unlike other trading cards, where you have to buy tons of cards to get maybe one “special” card, this game has 22 cards and each is super cool and 3D and special. I must admit, when my Tween showed me the game, I spend a good 30 min just looking at the cool 3D animation; I so wanted to capture it on pictures, but it didn’t work out too well. So, I think you should head over to Amazon.com and grab a few of the Redakai sets and add them to your Christmas stockings, then sit back and wait for the big “HOW COOL IS THAT” to come over. You will be the BEST Mom, aunt, grandma EVER!!
