Radiate Ride The Light Skateboard
Do you have Tweens or Teens in the house? If so, this is something you have to check out, I bet your Tween and teen will flip over this brand new Radiate Ride The Light Skateboard.
My Teen has been a big skateboard fan for years now. Every spare minute he spends on the board at some kind of Skate park in town. He is very picky about his boards and always knows a good board from a cheap board or not so good board. Trust me when I say, none of his boards where under $200. He works hard and saves his money to buy his boards, he knows what he wants and what works best for him.
I was a bit worried when I was asked to have my Teen check out the new Radiate Ride The Light Skateboard. After all, it has lights, is super cool… BUT… what would a 16yo boy think, would it be too girly, would it be too cheap and easily break? I had my worries, but this also is a fun part of my “job” I get to tell all of you what really works out in the world with Teens, Tweens or Toddlers and what doesn’t. So I was up for the challenge and we waited for the board to arrive.
The board arrived all assembled, but with a tool and a charger.. I had no clue as to why we needed a charger and a tool, but my Teen was the pro and he, just like all the other skateboards, took the board apart the second he laid hands on it. I thought he was crazy, I kind of got mad at him for taking a brand new board apart… His answer was “Mom, chill, I know exactly what I’m doing..watch me”….
He removed the wheels and removed the plastic, charged the lights and replaced the wheels and kept staring at his new wheels. He loved the color “orange” and the design was just great; he really was pleased with the overall look of the skateboard and the most impressive part was the quality of the board. My Teen told me that this board is just as good if not better as any of his more expensive boards; he couldn’t believe the quality and after a few hours of charging the lights ( you don’t need to charge the lights just to use the board..lol but it’s more fun at night with the lights) he was ready to hit the road.
I loved the lights in the dark sky, was just soo cool. My Teen kept saying over and over how cool this board is and he can’t wait to get used to it and make some new tricks. My Pro Skater approved the board with two thumbs up and would highly recommend it to his friends.

My 15 year old son usually rides his($200) long board, which he is fast to declare is NOT a skateboard. However, his old junky $20 skateboards are a mess and right after we got him the longboard he asked for on his birthday, he declared he needed a new skateboard too. That was just not happening! LOL I’d love to be able to get this for him, he would be absolutely thrilled with the lights and having a new board! It would also make me a little less worried since he does sometimes stay out until after dark and at the very least, people would definitely see him crossing the road! Thanks for the great contest and review. I probably wouldn’t have considered this board for him at all without your son’s ‘professional’ opinion.

My daughter has been asking for a skateboard. Not sure if she’s ready for this, so it may be an awesome gift for my cousin. (Would be a nice surprise compared to the usually small gift they get for Christmas!)
