Samsung Smart Cameras are perfect for your Summer pictures #pixbundle

I just love to take pictures of my kids, my home and anything else that jumps in front of my camera. I have been looking at the compact camera systems for a while now but couldn’t quit decided on a camera. They are all different and have so many features.

For the last few months I’ve used my iPhone camera for pretty much all the pictures that you saw here on the blog or on my Facebook page. Yes, the iPhone did a pretty good job most of the time, at least so I thought. I also have two bulky cameras that since my iPhone moved in have been collecting dust. They are just too big and bulky to take to the pool, the store or have around the kitchen when I cook dinner.

In my research I found many cameras, budget friendly, user friendly and even smart cameras, yes… Smart cameras! None had all the features that I wanted in one single camera. I was looking for something affordable, something easy to carry in my purse, fun filters and settings that are easy to access and of course that takes stunning pictures. I know I wasn’t asking too much and finally a company started to listen.

I found the Samsung Smart Camera WB800F at my local Sam’s a few weeks back and it was priced $279.88 and had a lot of the features that I was looking for and then some. I spend a few weeks thinking about the camera, reading up on the features and since I’ve never owned a Samsung camera I also read up on Samsung. I just couldn’t make up my mind. It’s a big purchase a new camera and I wanted to be 100% certain that this camera is ALL or more then what I wanted.

So in time for the Holiday weekend, I dragged my hubby back into Sam’s to check out the camera yet again; I wanted to be sure that nothing better had showed up and as soon  as I walked in I found the camera with a new sticker… the camera was on price break for $249.88… Well, if that wasn’t a sign. I quickly asked the associated if they had one in stock. I had checked online earlier and for my store “none” were in stock. To my excitement she had 3 in stock. So, even if the website may tell you “Out of Stock”, still check with your actual store, you may be surprised like I was.

I made up my mind and was as excited as a kid on Christmas Eve; we quickly grabbed a few other things before we headed home. Be sure to check out my shopping trip on my Google Plus Story, it sure was a lot of fun and lots of new products as well. Why can I never walk out of Sam’s with just one item??

Once I had my Samsung Smart Camera at home it didn’t take me any time at all to get it ready. The camera comes with a rechargeable battery that can be recharged through your USB or wall outlet, which is also provided. The bundle at Sam’s also had a camera bag and an 8GB Memory card to get you going in no time.

The camera truly is a Smart Camera, I know we all have heard of Smart Phones, but a Smart Camera is so much fun and the way to go. I played with my Smart Camera from Samsung for a few days now and the settings and features that are already pre-set are amazing. My favorite thing “WiFi”. Yes, you heard right, the Samsung Smart Camera has WiFi setting, letting you post your pictures directly from the camera to your Facebook, e-mail or any other online account in no time. That was one big feature why I kept using my iPhone, because it was so easy to post online.

Now I can post online and take amazing pictures as well. I still can’t get over that the new generation of cameras has “WiFi”, what will they come up with next? But, I love it!! I bet you will, too.

The Samsung Smart Camera also has a touch screen; yup… the only thing that would make this camera even better, not sure if it could get any better, would be a phone. If I could make calls and receive calls I would be in heaven. The camera is fairly small, compact and will fit in your hand without a problem. The power however is unbelievable.

Isn’t that amazing? I bet you are as overwhelmed as I am. I think I made the right decision when I decided on the Compact System from Samsung; WiFi was a big plus and the simple settings and quality just tops it.

I can even transfer photos from the camera directly to my iPhone or any other phone that has WiFi capability. Super easy to do and takes only seconds. I can turn the feature on and off on the camera with a  button and an App on the phone. LOVE IT!!

I’m not a professional photographer, I love to take high quality pictures of my kids and I think the Samsung Smart Camera will be the perfect companion. I love that the camera works beautifully in low light as well as in bright light. The settings on the touch screen are simple to find, pick and choose. All the pictures above were taken with settings that are already on the camera. Simple as that! Of course, the camera has manual settings as well for when you like to create a little “WOW” and “Ahhh” with your own settings. For me, the pre-set filters, frames and colors are perfectly fine and will help me create stunning pictures in no time.
