Scrapbook Friday: KiwiLane Design

March 18, 2011 By Melanie Roberts 11 Comments

A few weeks ago I told you about this wonderful company that I came across called Kiwi Lane Design. I finally had some time to play with their samples and they are amazing. Being a busy mom it’s tough enough to find the time to scrapbook, yet… you wanna be the best more you can be and that involves to create a scrapbook for your little ones so they can remember every step they took and every little thing they did . I love to scrapbook and I usually create all my layouts from scratch on my own. But since I work full time, write the blog and still try to be the best mom that I can be for my Tween, teen and toddler, I decided to take some help from Kiwi Lane Design and let them inspire me with their Templates.

Check out my creation. The key in using the Kiwi Lane Design Template, to me, is to have many different patterned pages and combine them, that makes their design pop and creates a fun new and fresh element. I love different colors and textures, so these simple yet awesome templates will be a huge time safer and you can still create all those wonderful layouts that you see online in galleries or at your friends house

.

This is my scrapbook page once it was done, I used the Borders, Tiny Wildflower Set and the Photo Set …… All you do is trace your Template on the paper you like, cut it and put it together, that’s it… simple as 1, 2, 3….. Check out this wonderful video tutorial created by Kiwi Lane Design

The Kiwi Lane design products are simple, yet a great tool that shouldn’t be missing in your crop bag. Each set comes with a “key ring” where you can put them all together and keep them all in one spot, I love that feature. The key ring can easily be hung on your wall, doorknobs or any place for storage. The templates themselves are of flexible yet sturdy plastic. They are not flimsy yet they are movable enough so you can bend them and create your theme. Such a wonderful product that will make your scrapbooking projects a lot easier and get you moving a lot faster.

Kiwi Lane Design has a wonderful Design Team with many different Layouts for your scrapbook designs or card designs, lots of ideas make sure you check them out… You can also follow Kiwi Lane Design on Facebook and stay up to date for any sales or even Giveaways they announce.

I was provided with some of the samples from Kiwi Lane Design, all opinions are 100% my own and no other compensation was received.

Interesting layouts. Really like the family layout with the different papers. The templates appear to be a really good idea when your looking for some new ideas. I hadn’t thought of mixing papers and designs thataway. Thanks for sharing.
